Khabib Nurmagomedov’s not-so-veiled threat would not be tolerated from anyone but a Muslim.
When a Muslim says such things, however, the establishment media turns a blind eye and resumes hunting for incidents of “Islamophobia.”
“Khabib warns McGregor he isn’t ‘safe’ after insulting Islam, Conor says he wants to move forward with fans of ‘all faiths,’” by Milan Ordoñez, Bloody Elbow, April 4, 2019 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
Richmond County, GA — Police officers in America have what is called ‘officer discretion’ as one of their many tools—meaning that if a police officer wants to let you go for a violation he or she thinks didn’t cause any harm, they can do just that. While they can’t make these decisions in cases of murder or other felonies, cops can most assuredly choose to ‘look the other way’ in instances like toddlers not being able to hold themselves and peeing in public. However, a deputy in Richmond County, Georgia chose to charge a mother with a crime for that very same thing.
Anyone who has had children knows that potty training isn’t the easiest thing in the world to do. And, when your newly diaper-less toddler says they have to go—they have to go.
This very scenario played out last month when Brooke Johns was driving her son Cohen home. Johns, who is 8 months pregnant was driving down Sandbar Ferry Road when Cohen let her know that he had to pee.
“He’s like, ‘Mom, I’ve got to pee. I’ve got to pee!’ I was like, ‘Well, hold on,’ and he’s like, ‘No! I’ve GOT to pee! I’ve got to REALLY pee.’ And I’m like, ‘Baby, there’s nowhere for me to go, and he says, ‘Momma, I’m about to pee in my pants!’” Johns said.
Not wanting her son to pee in his car seat, Johns found the closest gas station and pulled in. But she had waited too long and Cohen had to go right then. Because she is 8 months pregnant, Johns couldn’t pick up her son to carry him into the gas station, so he dropped his pants right there and started going.
“I can’t pick him up,” Johns said of her current pregnant status. “You know, I’m not supposed to lift him.”
Cohen had to go so bad, he couldn’t wait to walk in, so being the three-year-old that he is, he made the executive decision to use the parking lot.
“He was peeing before his pants were even all the way down, so obviously he had to go,” Johns said.
As the little boy relieved himself in the parking lot, a deputy rolled up and decided that this wasn’t okay.
“Accidents happen. And he was like, ‘Take him in the bathroom.’ What if I would have ran in the bathroom and someone had been in there? What was I going to let him do? Pee on the floor of the gas station?” Johns said.
Nevertheless, this cop had a job to do, so he had no other choice but to charge this mother with a crime. Instead of realizing that the 8 month pregnant mother couldn’t get her son to the bathroom in time, and the three-year-old had no other choice but to pee where he stood, this cop was sure a crime had been committed, so he hit the expectant mother with a charge of disorderly conduct.
PARENTS: We've all had potty-training emergencies, but this one is NEXT LEVEL.This (very pregnant) Beech Island mother…
On the citation for disorderly conduct, the deputy wrote that “she allowed her male child to urinate in the parking lot. I observed the male’s genitals and the urination. Public restrooms are offered at the location.”
Johns says she is not backing down without a fight and like so many of the parents who have commented on the Facebook post about this citation, she just wants to know why he would charge her for such an innocent situation. Johns told WRDW that she is going to court at the end of the month to fight it.
“I’m going to court April 30,” Brooke said. “Several days before I am due. Yeah, I could extend it, but I would rather deal with it when I’m pregnant. Not when I have a newborn.”
It’s absolutely amazing this man held any public office, especially the office of vice president. Even more concerning is his bid for the White House in 2020, after his embarrassment as the usurper’s VP. Still, as we have reported with documented video evidence, Joe Biden clearly cannot keep his hands nor his lips to himself. One wonders if he has kept other parts of his anatomy to only his wife and himself. It looks like the Deep State doesn’t want Biden in the White House in 2020 and so they are sending the CIA-controlled media after him about things that are actually true.
Biden addressed critics in a video posted to Twitter as three additional women told The Washington Post on Wednesday about encounters with him that made them feel uncomfortable. Their stories bring the total number of people who have expressed concerns about alleged interactions with Biden to seven.
Wow, former Senator Al Franken took quite a while to get that many accusers and look, basically within a week, Biden has done it with ease. No doubt, there are hundreds if not thousands to whom Biden has acted inappropriately, and no doubt, many more are to emerge in the coming days.
Vail Kohnert-Yount said she was a White House intern in the spring of 2013 and one day tried to exit the basement of the West Wing when she was asked to step aside so Biden could enter. After she moved out of the way, she said, Biden approached her to introduce himself and shake her hand.
“He then put his hand on the back of my head and pressed his forehead to my forehead while he talked to me. I was so shocked that it was hard to focus on what he was saying. I remember he told me I was a ‘pretty girl,’ ” Kohnert-Yount said in a statement to The Post.
Of course, Biden sought to exercise some damage control and issued a video on Wednesday in an attempt to justify his behavior.
Social norms are changing. I understand that, and I’ve heard what these women are saying. Politics to me has always been about making connections, but I will be more mindful about respecting personal space in the future. That’s my responsibility and I will meet it. pic.twitter.com/Ya2mf5ODts
<p\>Biden acknowledged shifting social norms and promised to be “more respectful of people’s personal space,” he defended his style of interacting and did not offer an apology.
“I’ll be much more mindful. That is my responsibility, my responsibility, and I’ll meet it. But I’ll always believe governing, quite frankly, and life, for that matter, is about connecting, about connecting with people. That won’t change,” Biden said in the video.
Everyone understands a hug from people you know, but we’ve all seen how Biden does lengthy hugs, has his hands everywhere and kissing and just being all around creepy. He isn’t encouraging any of the women I’ve seen. Does it appear that way to you?
In fact, it’s interesting that he’s just now saying he gets it about personal space. I thought he said he understood that in 2018.
“Nothing justifies a man laying a hand on a woman without her consent. Look, you need consent,” Biden said in an April 2018 video interview with feminist media outlet Makers.
Notice the “Never, never, never, never…” comments he makes about it.
Let those “nevers” be that he serves in public office again.
As if we didn’t know that ISIS is Islamic, despite insistence to the contrary from the likes of John Kerry and Theresa May. Dr. Arwa Al-Khattabi is by no means the first or only Muslim scholar to make abundantly clear that what ISIS did was Islamic, and entirely in keeping with Quranic doctrine and Muhammad’s commands.
There have been many, and no doubt there will be many more.
But instead of heeding them and making adequate preparations for the defense of free people and free societies, feckless leftist leaders all over the West claim that they know more about Islam than Muslim scholars such as Al-Khattabi do, and insist that it’s a religion of peace that is completely benign and will be nothing but a boon to free societies in the West.
They are leading those societies on the path to suicide.
“Yemeni Academic Dr. Arwa Al-Khattabi: ISIS Represents Islam; We Must Discuss This Honestly and Take Responsibility for What Is Happening in the World,” MEMRI, March 16, 2019:
On March 16, 2019, BBC Arabic (U.K.) hosted a debate about extremism and Islam. Dr. Makram Khouri-Machool, the director of the Cambridge-based European Centre for the Study of Extremism, said that most Muslim societies are peaceful and that Islam should not be accused of extremism. He said that there had been no killing of Arab Christians in the Middle East until American and Western occupation. Dr. Arwa Al-Khattabi, a Yemeni expert in European and German history, said that ISIS represents Islam and that it has attempted to implement it by the book without distorting, changing, or adding anything. She said that Arabs and Muslims must discuss the matter honestly and take responsibility for what is happening in the world rather than act like victims and blame others.
Following are excerpts:
Dr. Makram Khour-Machool: This is an important point for everyone to understand – the matter is between extremist forces in the West and the Muslims. This is why we say that most Muslim societies in the world are peaceful societies, and Westerners cannot look at the religion of Islam and accuse it of extremism in the world. This must stop – from a scientific, legal, practical, and procedural perspective.
Host: Okay let’s hear from…
Dr. Makram Khour-Machool: Just one more thing… The problem is that the Arab regimes do not have the power to stand before the European regimes and tell them: “What you want to apply to us – you must apply to yourselves.”
We had not seen the killing of Arab Christians and easterners until the intervention and occupation by America and the West in the Arab east and in our Arab world. The Arab Christians lived with their Muslim brothers in security in their countries, and there were no problems until the invading Western powers came in and nurtured the hatred and supported it financially, as they still do. Thus, there is no connection or correlation between Western terrorism and Christianity in the East.
Host: Do you agree with Dr. Gabriel Sawma’s point that ISIS represents Islam?
Dr. Arwa Al-Khattabi: Yes. This is the truth, and we must discuss this in full honesty and fairness. We must confront our [problems]. ISIS has come to implement Islam as it is, by the book. It has not come up with anything on its own. It evoked the religious texts exactly as they are. It did not distort, change, or replace anything. It came with the text and implement it exactly as it is.
They came in order to [implement] the proper Islam, complete with slave girls, the rape…
It is very unfortunate that we want to deny… We have a huge problem and we must recognize this before [we do] anything else. We have a problem, and we must take responsibility for it before we blame others for what is happening in the world. We cannot shut our eyes and deny this. It is happening because of us. When we deny things and place the blame on others, as if we are forced to do all this and are not the reason for what is happening… We must all own up to what is happening.
CNN spoke with three current employees of the organization who talked on condition of anonymity because of fears over possible retribution.
It was one of those employees who cited the systemic problems with racism and sexism, and a second employee agreed with that assessment.
But one of the employees who spoke to CNN alleged the organization suffers from a “pervasive racist culture” and an environment in which a woman is not seen or heard. She also said qualified African-American employees were regularly passed over for promotions — including one African-American colleague she describes as brilliant. She added, “My boss only hires white people.”
I have to admit that while the situation is very serious and sad, it is interesting watching this hateful, bigoted organization eat itself.
Conservative pundit Gavin McInnes has said that the SPLC wants everyone to believe that America is “frothing with bigots.” McInnes is suing the nonprofit for labeling his fraternal organization, the Proud Boys, a hate group.
And as the Washington Examiner‘s Beckett Adams wrote last week, the Southern Poverty Law Center is a “scam,” which has taken “no care whatsoever for the reputational and personal harm it causes by lumping Christians and anti-extremist activists with actual neo-Nazis.”
As it turns out, the SPLC is a cynical money-making scheme, according to a former staffer’s blistering tell-all, published this week in the New Yorker. The center’s chief goal is to bilk naive and wealthy donors who believe it’s an earnest effort to combat bigotry.
The only thing worse than a snarling partisan activist is a slimy conman who merely pretends to be one. –Washington Examiner
““Outside of work,” recalls Bob Moser of his days working for the organization, “we spent a lot of time drinking and dishing in Montgomery bars and restaurants about … the hyperbolic fund-raising appeals, and the fact that, though the center claimed to be effective in fighting extremism, ‘hate’ always continued to be on the rise, more dangerous than ever, with each year’s report on hate groups. ‘The S.P.L.C.—making hate pay,’ we’d say.”
John Hart, who has been a sheep and beef farmer for 15 years, said he took his semi-automatic weapon into Masterton police station on Monday as he “couldn’t in all conscience” keep the rifle after seeing the loss of life in Christchurch.
“Until today I was one of the New Zealanders who owned a semi-automatic rifle. On the farm they are a useful tool in some circumstances, but my convenience doesn’t outweigh the risk of misuse,” he posted online.
He added, “We don’t need these in our country. We have make sure it’s #NeverAgain.”
Until today I was one of the New Zealanders who owned a semi-automatic rifle. On the farm they are a useful tool in some circumstances, but my convenience doesn’t outweigh the risk of misuse.
Honestly, this is the stupidest thing this guy could have done. I guess he thinks the criminals will just turn in their guns like his and the agents of the state will turn in theirs and it will just be Kumbaya around the fire with everyone holding hands.
Furthermore, it’s interesting the use of the term #NeverAgain. That’s the very thing that little David Hogg said and used as a title of his and his sister’s ignorant book on gun confiscation.
Interestingly enough, the students from Parkland, in order to “gather themselves together,” left the US and went to… you guessed it, New Zealand.
Parkland students mourn for friends made in Christchurch.
Nearly 30 students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School traveled there last summer to cope with their trauma.
Another particularly strange coincidence is the fact that 30 survivors of the Parkland shooting traveled to Christchurch last July. The purpose of that trip, according to Sandi Davis, a sociology teacher at Stoneman Douglas, was a way to help the students cope with the tragedy they experienced and also as a way for them to learn how to sustain the anti-gun violence movement they had begun in the Parkland shooting’s aftermath.
Another person also took to Twitter to show he had turned in his rifle, saying it was the easiest decision he ever made.
However, Tyler Durden explains that this is not the norm and that Kiwis are not complying, for the most part, with the ban.
Out of an estimated 1.2 million registered guns, New Zealand police report that as of Tuesday night, 37 firearms have been surrenderednationwide, according to BuzzFeed.
No accounting was provided of how many people owned those guns, the types of firearms, or where they were surrendered.
The reports of citizens disarming themselves came after a Monday announcement by Prime minister Jacinda Ardern that several “in principle decisions” on gun control have been made by Cabinet ministers, while praising residents who have surrendered their guns to police.
Ardern asked residents to surrender their weapons on Monday.
“To make our community safer, the time to act is now,” she said. “I want to remind people, you can surrender your gun to the police at any time. In fact I have seen reports that people are in fact already doing this. I applaud that effort, and if you are thinking about surrendering your weapon, I would encourage you to do so.”
In a previous post, Durden explains why people are not so apt to jump at the hijab-wearing, Islam-kowtowing Prime Ministers request.
Following the 1996 Port Arthur Massacre in which 35 people were killed, Australia banned guns via the National Firearms Agreement, which resulted in confiscation of between 650,000 and 1 million firearms from private citizens.
A 2007 study by researchers Jeanine Baker and Samara McPhedran found that “when compared with observed values, firearm suicide was the only parameter the [National Firearms Agreement] may have influenced, although societal factors could also have influenced observed changes.”
The following year, Wang-Sheng Lee and Sandy Suardi with the University of Melbourne concluded that “there is little evidence to suggest that [the National Firearms Agreement] had any significant effects on firearm homicides.” Additionally, “the evidence so far suggests that in the Australian context, the high expenditure incurred to fund the 1996 gun buyback has not translated into any tangible reductions in terms of firearm deaths.” -Newstalk1130
But in the wake of a mass shooting, apparently all it takes to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy (or gal) who’s given up their ability to defend themselves and their family.
Looks like some people have a brain and know history, and some don’t.
OK, seriously? Not only can we take this woman’s mental capacity to serve in the US Senate seriously nor her claims to be Native American, even to the point that she forgot using that claim to get into college while hypocritically blasting others for bribing their kid’s ways into colleges, but now we are hearing from Senator “Fauxahontas” Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) that “white nationalism” poses the same threat as “ISIS and al-Qaeda terrorism.”
Here is a woman who has already had to apologize for making ethnic-related claims regarding her non-Native American status, but like most Socialists, Leftists and Communists, there is nothing like dividing people based on how their Creator made them.
While I don’t deny that there have been those who felt superior due to skin color or ethnic origin, that is not necessarily the case in the US.
Islamic jihad, however, is a great threat and the numbers don’t lie, not only in the US, but around the world.
So, just like the good little Democrat exploiter, who never wants a crisis to go to waste, Warren interjected her stupidity into political commentary surrounding the New Zealand massacre.
During a campaign stop in Memphis, TN, 2020 presidential hopeful Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) commented on white nationalism following the terror attack in two New Zealand mosques that left 50 people dead.
Warren compared white nationalism to ISIS and Al-Qaeda, saying all three “pose a threat” to the United States.
“It’s going to take acknowledging what a terrible problem white nationalism is and how it is a threat to the safety and security of the United States,” Warren said Sunday. “In the same way that ISIS and Al-Qaeda terrorism pose a threat to the U.S., so does the rise of white nationalism.”….
Clearly, this is more of a shot at President Donald Trump than it is anything with any level of substance. Warren doesn’t know her you know what from a hole in the ground.
However, don’t blame Warren. It’s the people in Massachusetts that put this illiterate, unconstitutional, mental midget and criminal into office.
We have an already crowded field of candidates now, officially running for president in the 2020 elections who hope to gain enough traction to either get nominated at the DNC or have enough support to run as an independent. The only problem here is that most of them do not have a snowball’s chance of rising above the field of contenders and only two, or perhaps three stand a chance of facing president Trump in the 2020 general election.
Most, who are officially running, are a waste of time for many reasons, but primarily because they do not resonate with the people. These include Sen. Cory Booker, Sen. Kamala Harris, and Representatives Julian Castro and Tulsi Gabbard. These candidates, with the exception of Julian Castro, do not present themselves as likable people and have a proverbial wall separating them from the voters. Castro, on the other hand, is likable but seems unable to spark very much interest among voters. This is primarily because he doesn’t present a clear picture of just how electing he will improve the country.
Others, like Sen. Bernie Sanders and Sen. Elizabeth Warren have lousy track records and excessive baggage to contend with. Sanders pretty much had it in the bag, last time around with enough delegates to challenge Hillary Clinton for the nomination at the DNC, but rolled over when Clinton bribed him into quitting by buying him a lakeside vacation home, worth over a half a million dollars. You will not see it in the mainstream media, but if Sanders really wanted to be president, he could have, but instead, he chose to endorse her, after the bribe.
Elizabeth Warren, on the other hand, is a total waste of everyone’s time and money because she is a known liar who was exposed after a DNA test proved she was not Native American as she claimed to be for decades. No one will elect quitters or known liars, so these two are going nowhere.
Other lesser-known candidates in the field will disappear soon, noticed by no one.
Joe Biden, more than likely, will end up running but will be seen as too old and moderate for the new Socialist Left.
Since the beginning, there have been only two people who could get nominated as the Democrat presidential candidate and actually give president Trump a decent run. They are Robert (Beto) O’Rourke and Eric Holder.
O’Rourke has burst on the political arena, after nearly defeating Sen. Ted Cruz for the Senate seat in Texas. Since then, O’Rourke has increased his political presence nationwide by speaking out at rallies and at small gatherings in bars and restaurants. Anywhere he can speak, he does.
The one big problem with O’Rourke is his message. He will not get elected by voters solely based on the issues of climate change and by heralding totally open borders. Even if his supporters agree with him on these two issues, most will want to hear how he intends to improve their lives as POTUS. Thus far, O’Rourke has not come up with any detailed plan on solving problems facing the country.
Eric Holder has not made any announcement that he will run for president. However, if he decides to run, he just may edge out O’Rourke after all the political smoke clears. Holder would be the most dangerous person to run in 2020 because of many reasons. For example, he is not your average white guy like O’Rourke and Biden and would have a great advantage with gaining support from everyone on the Left based on his race.
There is also the moderation factor, where Holder seems more moderate than the Socialists seeking to completely overthrow the government of the United States. This will be in his favor.
Holder would come into the picture with a name for himself after having been Attorney General of the US. Since serving as AG under Obama, he has a lot of negative excess baggage to contend with such as being the first AG in history to be held in Contempt of Congress on both civil and criminal grounds. Aside from this, there is Fast and Furious where he was involved in running guns to Mexican and Central American criminal cartels.
Yet, it is hard to find a Democrat that does not have an extensive criminal resume. Thus, Holder is probably the man for Democratic nomination, if he decides to run, since that seems to be a requirement by the Left for getting the presidential nomination.
It will be either O’Rourke or Holder who wins the DNC nomination for president in 2020.
Editor’s Note: When are is the US going to follow Egypt and the UAE in declaring these people terror groups and eliminate them from our society? These people never blame the Koran, Muhammad or the Hadiths for Islamic jihad attacks, do they? By allowing them free reign, we are only setting ourselves up to be conquered by these anti-American jihadis. It’s time to declare CAIR what they actually are: Islamic terror front groups.
The terror-tied group seeks to exploit the tragedy to impose the sharia in America. Exploiting instead of morning, terrorist CAIR is exploiting this bloodshed to incite violence against human rights activists. They blame Trump.
In its press conference on the New Zealand mosque shootings, the terror-tied group CAIR has issued a blood libel against me (minute 4:55), making me a target, yet again, for jihad assassination. What they’re trying to do is exploit this horrific incident in order to shut down all criticism of Islam and all opposition to jihad terror. Hamas-CAIR operative at this press conference “ask our political leaders to address growing menace of islamophobia” — i.e., criminalize all negative words about Islam. “The perpetrator of this terrorist attack has been inspired by hatemongers in the United States,” they claim, even though the terrorist himself, in his insane “manifesto,” said no such thing, and stated that:
“[the shooter] referenced President Trump.” Nihad Awad goes on to blame Trump for the bloodshed.
“Years ago when another terrorist attacked in Norway he quoted islamophobes like Spencer and Pamela Geller.” Actually, the Norway terrorist quoted Barack Obama and JFK as well. And subsequently said he was inspired by Hamas and Al Qaeda. No mention is ever made of that,
Instead of mourning, terror-tied CAIR is exploiting this bloodshed to incite to violence against human rights activists.
They are calling for TV stations, social media platforms, media to silence “hate groups.”
CAIR “Research Director” Dr. Abbas Barzegar: “Not allow these people to exploit freedom of speech.” “Not allow these people to exploit freedom of speech.” Ah, there it is.
“We ask our political leaders to address growing menace of islamophobia.” The objective is to criminalize speech critical of jihad terror and sharia oppression,
“The perpetrator of this terrorist attack has been inspired by hatemongers in the United States”
“Directly related to ideas that are carried out radio shows, TV shows, news commenters
Thats the burning smoke. We have to take control back and leadership back in our public space.”
“This stuff is mainstream”
‘This is not random’ marginal activity. We have to put a stop to it. We have to ask our TV networks to be responsible. We have to ask our social media platforms to be responsible. We have to ask our charities and philanthropic communities to be responsible and not allow these people to guide, to exploit freedom of speech, exploit non profit covers – these are hate groups, special interest groups with a very nefarious agenda.
Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) is about as crooked as they come. From literally whoring her way to political power in California with Willie Brown to her being an accomplice to Planned Parenthood baby murders and body parts trafficking to her anti-American views that push socialism and gun confiscation, Kamala Harris rivals the corruption of notable Democrats in DC. This brings up the question, why would then-citizen Donald Trump and his daughter, Ivanka, be providing one dollar to her re-election as California’s attorney general? Yet, that’s exactly what the father and daughter did between 2011 and 2014, and it wasn’t just Harris that Trump supported.
However, Harris was not the only Socialist in California to whom the Trump’s donated.
First, Javier Panzar of the LA Times tweeted out the following donations from Donald Trump to the Harris campaign in 2011 and 2013 that totaled $6,000.
Ivanka Trump donated $2,000 in 2014 to Harris’ campaign.
However, in order to distance herself from Trump, Harris claims she didn’t use their money. The Sacramento Bee reports:
Harris campaign spokesman Ian Sams told McClatchy that Harris donated the $6,000 Trump had contributed to a non-profit that advocates for civil and human rights for Central Americans. But that donation wasn’t made until 2015, a year after she won her reelection for attorney general and as she was launching her run for the Senate.
OK, but how do we know this? How did she pull out the exact $6,000 Trump gave and donate it in 2015 when it was donate 2 and 4 years prior? We don’t, and neither does Harris nor Sams. It’s a cover like Planned Parenthood in saying they don’t use unconstitutionally provided federal funds for abortion. They have absolutely no way to determine where that money goes and no one can actually verify it wasn’t used for abortions any more than Harris can document the money given to her by the Trumps was donated and not used for her campaign.
To be fair, this was emphasized by Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), according to the LA Times, and Trump has donated to Republicans even more money in the state, even though former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger can hardly be considered a real Republican.
He even gave to RINO Republican and actor Arnold Schwarzenegger a total of $12,000 in 2007 and 2008 and the California Republican Party $25,000 in 2006.
The Donald's biggest foray into Calif. politics seems to be his $25K contribution to the Calif. GOP in 2005 pic.twitter.com/w8p6GfZAz6
However, I realize there will be those who try and defend this money going to Harris, Brown and others, including anti-Americans in many states, as nothing more than “good business.” They will say that Trump is a businessman and as such, he’s giving to both sides to sort of hedge his bets for possible political favors concerning his business. OK, but isn’t that the very definition of corruption? This writer believes it is, and those who may oppose me would call it exactly that if it were Barack Hussein Obama Soetoro Sobarkah or Hillary Clinton if they were doing it. Why won’t we be consistent?
“I give to everybody,” he said in a debate in 2015. “They call, I give. And you know what, when I need something from them two years later, three years later, I call them, they are there for me.”
See? I’ll scratch your back, you scratch mine, no matter whose rights are violated or what laws are broken. And this includes donations to your favorite Socialists and Communists like Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton.
Notice, he called it a “broken system,” but he never answered the question about what they did for him.
No, the system isn’t broken. Trump and all men are broken. They are sinful and they will engage in this if given the opportunity and then seek to blame the system for their behavior rather than lead by example.
Supporting anti-Americans for business favors is corruption, no matter who does it.
I ask you, my fellow Americans, do you give your money to those hellbent on destroying your state, your country? No, you don’t.
The interesting thing is that when it comes to each of the Democrats mentioned in California to which Trump donated, every single one of them has blasted him in public.
Just last month, Harris told The Root that she believes the president is a racist, saying, “When you talk about him calling African countries s—hole countries, when you talk about him referring to immigrants as rapists and murderers, I don’t think you can reach any other conclusion.”
When you support corruption, it makes you corrupt and in the end, it comes back to bite you.
If you want to know why corruption thrives in American government and politics, it’s because we allow it and seek to justify it when it come to “our team” doing it.
A little leaven leavens the whole lump. -Galatians 5:9
Investigative reporter Ben Swann often will cover stories no one else will, and quite often make points or provide additional information you simply won’t hear in the mainstream media, or even in alternative media. I’ve always appreciated his approach to his reports. In a recent Reality Check, Swann took on the issue of Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) questioning of loyalty regarding representatives who appear to be selling out to lobbyists from Israel. While Democrats want to condemn anti-Semitism, they don’t necessarily want to name people like Omar or Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI). However, were her comments anti-Semitic or not, that is the question.
Reality Check, Representative Omar did not accuse Jews of having an allegiance to Israel, she questioned the motivation of lawmakers who are not Jewish from both sides of the political isle who have unquestioned support of, not Jews, but of the nation and government of Israel. There is a very big difference between those two things.
“I want to talk about the political influence in this country that says it is OK for people to push for allegiance to a foreign country.”
“I want to ask, ‘Why is it OK for me to talk about the influence of the NRA, or fossil fuel industries or Big Pharma, and not talk about a powerful lobbying group that is influencing policy?'”
Swann is quite clear that Omar was simply questioning the lobbying efforts of a foreign nation, Israel, which she was.
He was also clearly distinguishing between questioning the government of Israel and calling out individual Jews, which is good because frankly I question sending money to Israel, as well as Muslim nations and other nations around the world.
While I think that Swann simply dealing with these comments is correct, I think he failed to acknowledge the reason behind her comments. While true Americans can question such things based on the Constitution, Omar, who is tied to designated terror group CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) is a practicing Muslim, and as such, she is taught anti-Semitism in the Koran.
That’s not all. This same woman thought it just fine to marry her brother in order to commit immigration fraud to get him into the country, and nowhere have we heard her call out the same behavior from lobbyists for Qatar or Muslim Brotherhood front groups such as CAIR. In fact, Omar applauds someone like freshman Rep. Rashida Tlaib who openly demonstrated her support for terror run Palestine, who national charter says its goal is the complete annihilation of the state of Israel.
However, does questioning foreign policy and influence mean one is somehow “anti-Semitic”? The answer is clearly, no.
Questioning the actions of a government does not necessarily make you an enemy of that government, though it may do just that. I question the actions of our government all the time based on our founding documents and the Bible. Does that make me un-American or mean I hate America? Of course not.
Yet, in the case of Omar, we have a history of her anti-Semitism that is fueled by her Islamic worldview which is anti-Israel, anti-Jewish, anti-Christian and anti-American.
However, let’s just deal with the anti-Semitism part.
Omar has clearly understood and admitted that she engaged in anti-semitic comments in the past when she targeted Israel.
In 2012, she tweeted that Israel had “hypnotized” the world, which many thought bought into age-old anti-Semitic motifs. Omar disavowed the tweet last month, writing on Twitter, “It’s now apparent to me that I spent lots of energy putting my 2012 tweet in context and little energy in disavowing the anti-semitic trope I unknowingly used, which is unfortunate and offensive.”
She issued a string of apologies, but attempted to correct herself by pointing at government actions rather than a particular religion.
That statement came in the context of the Gaza War.
It’s now apparent to me that I spent lots of energy putting my 2012 tweet in context and little energy is disavowing the anti-semitic trope I unknowingly used, which is unfortunate and offensive.
Then there was another tweet she issued about a month later after her apology. The Jewish Telegraph Agency reports on that and why it was considered anti-Semitic.
Less than a month after that apology, controversy reignited on Twitter. Rep. Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., called for “action” against her and her fellow Muslim congresswoman, Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., while being vague on what “action” he wants to take.
Omar then retweeted journalist Glenn Greenwald, a frequent critic of Israel who shared an article about McCarthy, adding the comment, “It’s stunning how much time US political leaders spend defending a foreign nation even if it means attacking free speech rights of Americans.”
Omar wrote six words that would ignite debate: “It’s all about the Benjamins baby,” adding a music note emoji to the end of her tweet.
OK, this just could’ve been a reference to the Puff Daddy song “It’s All About The Benjamins.” Why is it so problematic?
Well, we are so glad you asked! Because that wasn’t the end of the Twitter drama.
The Forward’s opinion editor, Batya Ungar-Sargon, then quote-tweeted Omar’s “Benjamins” tweet, writing, “Would love to know who @IlhanMN thinks is paying American politicians to be pro-Israel, though I think I can guess. Bad form, Congresswoman. That’s the second anti-Semitic trope you’ve tweeted.”
Omar then quote tweeted Ungar-Sargon’s tweet (you still with us?), simply writing “AIPAC!”
And so the controversy began.
AIPAC is the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, the most influential pro-Israel lobbying group.
Many people began to call out Omar for repeating the anti-Semitic trope that Jews influence governments through money.
Dan Shapiro, former U.S. ambassador to Israel, tweeted: “@IlhanMN’s outrageous comments equating politicians’ support for Israel with being bought off by American Jewish money are a vile anti-Semitic trope. They need to be condemned by all in our party.”
However, on the other side of the argument, many started arguing that Omar was just pointing out the influence of lobbyists. It has nothing to do with the Jews! Omar notably retweeted Jewish journalist Ashley Feinberg, who wrote, “accurately describing how the Israel lobby works is not anti-semitism.”
I’m confused. Is calling out AIPAC anti-Semitic?
Not in theory, no. You can criticize AIPAC without being anti-Semitic.
However, when you focus on AIPAC as the example of money in politics, or link Jewish influence to deep pockets, that’s when it becomes a problem. As JTA Editor-in-Chief Andrew Silow-Carroll pointed out, “Invoking ‘AIPAC!’ as a metonym for the influence of money in politics was a minefield, and the idea that she doesn’t know that by now — coming only a week after she apologized for her 7-year-old ‘hypnotized’ tweet — is implausible.”
The tweet was also technically incorrect: AIPAC is not a political action committee and does not endorse or give money directly to politicians or campaigns. It does signal to supporters who might be worthy of a donation, but its self-described role is to “engage lawmakers directly on the merits and substance of policy.”
As Brent Sasley pointed out in The Washington Post, “Interest groups have always been an important part of the policymaking process in the United States. It is normal, not nefarious, that interest groups lobby Congress, the executive and the bureaucracy to get their priorities on the agenda. Interest groups play such a role on almost every issue, and many of them are highly effective at shaping agendas and votes.”
So, perhaps it was an issue that Omar singled out AIPAC — and for what it’s worth, she apologized, tweeting, “Anti-Semitism is real and I am grateful for Jewish allies and colleagues who are educating me on the painful history of anti-Semitic tropes.”
However, the thing I at least appreciated in the piece I cited above by JTA was that they acknowledge it’s ok to criticize just as long as you aren’t attempting to paint “the Jews” as the sole influence.
I get that. Even some of the writers I republish who are Jewish have called out AIPAC. So, there’s nothing anti-Semitic about that.
There is no doubt and it’s demonstratable that there are Jews in banking, entertainment and a variety of other areas of society who have been very successful. Some of them are utterly wicked, such as George Soros and we could cite many bankers and members of Congress. Some are good citizens in their community. This happens across the board.
So, what does this actually mean? On the one hand, Omar’s comments can be understood to be questioning the loyalty of those who are lobbied by Israeli interests, something that I don’t understand why the US allows in the first place, just like I don’t understand Muslim, European or Asian nations being allowed to lobby our representatives. They are there to represent us, not those nations.
On the other hand, to dismiss her history, her theology and her ideology and completely remove that from her comments is to seek to remove those questions from her previous actions, thought process and religious belief system, which even though the questioning may be valid, one would have to also consider the motive behind it. This is why she is being called out on it.
In the final analysis, while I welcome the questioning about the lobbying and foreign policy, when you put Ms. Omar into perspective, it’s clear to me that she is engaging in taqiyya in order to deceive as much as possible to advance a particular Islamic agenda, and this should be apparent from looking at not only what she has said, but who she is affiliated with.
Despite the exposing of the global warming and climate change hoax, complete with the revelation that “studies” were falsified and manipulated, there are still people pushing the hoax. Now, there are scientists at Harvard University who want to fight the mythical “global warming” by flying at least 4,000 missions per year and dumping particles into the stratosphere. Anyone wanna guess what this is going to cost us besides health issues?
The following is an article written by Barry Brownstein, professor emeritus of economics and leadership at the University of Baltimore and author of The Inner-Work of Leadership, at Foundation For Economic Education, which explains this ridiculous notion that man thinks he is in control of the Creation rather than the Creator.
Harvard’s Gernot Wagner wants to save the world from global warming. His method? Develop a new type of plane that will fly more than 4,000 missions a year dumping particulates into the stratosphere.
Wagner and his colleague Wake Smith call the proposed plane “SAI Lofter (SAIL).” Anonymous individuals at “Airbus, Atlas Air, Boeing, Bombardier, GE Engines, Gulfstream, Lockheed Martin, NASA, Near Space Corporation, Northrup Grumman, Rolls Royce Engines, Scaled Composites, The Spaceship Company, and Virgin Orbit” provided input.
Estimates for SAIL’s design and operation seem sophisticated but are fabricated. Wagner and Smith admit, “No existing aircraft design—even with extensive modifications—can reasonably fulfill [their] mission.”
Wagner and others believe that scientists can calculate how many particulates will be needed to cool the Earth to a desired temperature.
Wagner and Smith are not alone in their geoengineering dreams. As early as 2006, Paul J. Crutzen, Nobel laureate in chemistry, called for “stratospheric geoengineering research.” Harvard professors David Keith and Frank Keutsch hope to experiment via balloons spraying “a fine mist of materials such as sulfur dioxide, alumina, or calcium carbonate into the stratosphere.” Wagner, Keith, and Keutsch are all part of the Solar Geoengineering Research Program at Harvard.
Geoengineering is gaining global traction. Last fall, the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change issued a report saying geoengineering could be used as an emergency “temporary remedial measure.”
In 1815, Mount Tambora in Indonesia erupted, spewing “millions of tons of dust, ash, and sulfur dioxide into the atmosphere, temporarily changing the world’s climate and dropping global temperatures by as much as 3 degrees.” As the particulates moved around the global atmosphere, “1816 became the year without a summer for millions of people in parts of North America and Europe, leading to failed crops and near-famine conditions.”
No doubt, Wagner and others will tell you careful calculations will limit global cooling to just the right degree. Skeptics might conclude otherwise: scientists blinded by unlimited hubris are partnering with crony capitalists to threaten humanity.
In his book The Fatal Conceit, F.A. Hayek observed, “The curious task of economics is to demonstrate to men how little they really know about what they imagine they can design.” Is Hayek’s statement equally applicable to scientists imagining they can safely modify the biosphere?
Regardless of your beliefs about global warming, Nassim Taleb’s “precautionary principle” would rule out plans altering the biosphere. Taleb writes:
The precautionary principle (PP) states that if an action or policy has a suspected risk of causing severe harm to the public domain (affecting general health or the environment globally), the action should not be taken in the absence of scientific near-certainty about its safety.
Learning How Little We Know
In the late 1980s, outside Tucson, Arizona, scientists built a closed ecosystem (all food and water had to be obtained from inside the dome) to replicate the Earth’s biosphere. Eight humans resided in the biosphere for a short period of time. Not long into the experiment, project organizers had to open the sealed doors of Biosphere 2: “Oxygen levels got so low halfway through the first year that they had to put more in over fear for the safety of the Biosphere residents.”
John Adams, deputy director of Biosphere 2, clearly states the takeaway: “What they did learn, and in my opinion the single most important lesson, was just how little we truly understand Earth’s systems.” I suspect that Wagner won’t be calling Adams soon.
The Crazy Atlantropa Project
If you think Wagner’s plan to cool the atmosphere by mimicking the effects of volcanoes is bonkers, consider the Atlantropa project—”the craziest, most megalomaniacal scheme from the 20th century that you never heard of.”
After World War I, German engineer Herman Sörgel had a plan to prevent mass starvation in Europe. Sörgel called his plan the Atlantropa Project. The heart of the Atlantropa madness was to block the Atlantic Ocean from entering the Mediterranean by damming the Strait of Gibraltar. Deprived of a significant source of water flow, the Mediterranean would drain.
Sörgel imagined the dams would produce almost unlimited energy and the reclaimed land used for farming. World peace would reign when Europe and Africa were linked as a giant continent—Atlantropa.
Yet, problems with Sörgel’s mad scheme were endless. An enormous amount of concrete would be required to build a dam across the Strait of Gibraltar. If the dam would fail, millions might die by floods. As for the reclaimed land, salt left behind on the seabed would prevent farming and turn the land into a desert.
Herman Sörgel’s crazy scheme is not so different from Gernot Wagner’s—both imagine they know how our biosphere works. In Sörgel’s case, dams would have altered the Gulf Stream with catastrophic global cooling the result.
Without government support, Sörgel had no power to impose his crazy dream on others. Humanity averted disaster when the Nazis rejected Sörgel’s engineered “utopia.” In another instance, the Soviets were not as lucky.
How Communists Destroyed the Aral Sea
Consider the Aral Sea. The Aral Sea—once the fourth largest body of water on the planet—is now a vast wasteland that has shrunk to less than 25 percent of its former size.
The Aral Sea in Uzbekistan (formerly part of the Soviet Union) stands as a tragic monument to the environmental carnage that often occurs under socialism. How could this have happened? Was it a change in weather? No, the destruction of the Aral Sea was the consequence of the Soviet decision to divert waters that flowed into the Aral Sea to irrigate land for cotton farming.
Then, beginning in the 1960s, Soviet agriculture demands and horrendous planning began to drain water from the sea and from the two great rivers that feed it (the Amu Darya from the north and the Syr Darya from the south) faster than the water could be replenished.
The sea started to shrink rapidly. As it did, the level of its salinity rose, and by 1977 the catch from the once-important fishery had declined by over 75 percent. Still the water level continued to fall, as the sea provided irrigation for cotton fields and for other agricultural production. The same Soviet planning that brought the world the Chernobyl nuclear plant disaster in Ukraine, stood by paralyzed as the Aral Sea began to disappear before the world’s eyes.
Now, in reality, geographical name Aral Sea is a fiction, because it has shrunk in size and depth so much that a land bridge separates the so-called Greater Sea to the north from the Lesser Sea to the South. What was a single sea has lost 75 percent of its water and 50 percent of its surface area in the past 40 years. That is roughly equivalent to draining Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. The Uzbek town of Munak was once the Aral Sea’s leading port, with its fishermen harvesting the sea’s abundant catch. Now there are few fish, but even if there were many, it would not help the people of Munak. The town is now in the middle of a desert; the shoreline of the Lesser Sea is 50 miles away.
Let’s put all of this together. Human hubris and madness will always exist. Scientists can dream of controlling the uncontrollable, but they need an agent of coercion to implement their dangerous schemes. Their tool of coercion can only be government.
A 41-year-old Argentinian model was found dead on Saturday February 23 in a bed at the Xanadú party salon in La Ñata, in the Tigre district, north of Buenos Aires City, according to police. However, the woman said she accidentally exposed an international pedophile ring in 2018 and was in fear for her life, even going to the extent of claiming, “I will not commit suicide. I won’t be bought off or drown in a bathtub, nor will I shoot myself in the head. So, if that happens, IT WASN’T ME.”
Last year, Natacha Jaitt, a model, socialite, TV personality and mother of two threatened to expose an international pedophile ring that she apparently uncovered.
Here’s the video from 2018 where she discusses the pedophile network. Though it’s in Spanish, there are English captions.
Less than a year ago, around the time of the interview above, she tweeted out that she would never commit suicide and that if she were found dead, it was not her doing.
“I will not commit suicide. I won’t be bought off or drown in a bath tub, nor will I shoot myself in the head. So, if that happens, IT WASN’T ME. Save this tweet,” she wrote.
A controversial Argentine media personality was found dead on Saturday night at a private event’s facility in Tigre district, north of Buenos Aires City.
Natacha Jaitt’s body was found in a bed at the Xanadú party salon in La Ñata, in the Tigre district, north of Buenos Aires City, police confirmed.
Investigators are currently looking into the circumstances of the 41-year-old’s death, including running checks on the five people who had been with her in the hours prior. An autopsy was underway at the San Fernando morgue.
Jaitt, a well-known media personality, previously worked as a model, actress, escort, and TV and radio presenter.
The report went on to state that though she had been a former drug user, those who were closest to her insisted that she was no longer a user.
The tweet [above] followed allegations by Jaitt that dozens of high-profile Argentinians, including members of local football clubs such as Independiente and River, were involved in a VIP pedophile ring. She also claimed to have evidence that local celebrities, politicians, religious figures, actors, and television producers were involved in child abuse, trafficking and child prostitution. Jaitt’s remarks on these issues led to a barrage of attacks against her in the final months of her life, including death threats. Local media dismissed her allegations as “unfounded.”
Last month, Jaitt accused film director Pablo Yotich and a friend of his of raping her.
Jaitt’s brother and her lawyer believe Natacha may have been murdered, with the brother claiming that despite an earlier drug problem, she could not have consumed cocaine on the night of her death, since she knew that the drug could react dangerously to medications she was taking.
Police have not ruled out foul play, but said that Jaitt’s body “showed no signs of violence.”
In the program La Noche de Mirtha (Channel 13), the media Natacha Jaitt named journalists, producers, politicians and even involved the very Pope Francis as accomplices of a large network of pedophilia.
At the beginning, Jaitt spoke specifically of the deputy Gustavo Vera and with the journalist Mercedes Ninci in between, he shot: “Mercedes, you are a close friend of Vera, did you know that he is a pedophile and that he runs brothels?”
The accusation without evidence of the media – and with certain strong exchanges with Ninci – also led her to involve the Pope himself.
“(Julio) Grassi practiced pedophilia and Bergoglio moved to a place of children without resources to save him,” he said.
After these accusations, he referred to the public relations officer Leonardo Cohen Arazi – detained a few days ago – and also involved several accomplices. “Cohen Arazi asked for sex in exchange for work, his partner is Francisco Delgado from Big Brother, Brian (Lanzelotta) took the boys from the village to the referee (Martín Bustos) and to him,” he accused.
He added: “A network was being put in. Combat participants entered not by casting but by having sex with Cohen Arazi.”
At the same time, he added the producer of Liliana Parodi and the journalist Juan Cruz Sanz among the accomplices of the public relations specialist. “Sanz is a friend of Cohen Arazi,” he said.
In this sense, Natacha also involved several journalists such as Carlos Pagni and Oscar González Oro. As well as the humorist Enrique Pinti.
Another journalist appointed by Jaitt was Alejandro Fantino. “The driver of Animales Sueltos was also a client of Leo Cohen Arazi,” he said.At that moment and when he had also mentioned Ernesto Tenenbaum, he was interrupted by the conductor Mirtha Legrand, complaining about the attitudes of the media against Ninci.
Her brother and attorney are alleging this was a murder, not a suicide and not an accidental overdoes.
While investigators are not ruling out foul play and claiming it looks like a suicide or accidental overdose, is it really so far fetched that she would be in fear for her life, having two small children, and openly declare she wouldn’t do this and then kill herself? I think not.
It was four days before a vote that will be talked about for years. Of course, that irony was probably lost on Senator Patty Murray (D-Wash.) — but it wasn’t lost on us. The same woman leading the fight for legal infanticide chose last Thursday to tour Seattle Children’s Hospital, walking the long hallways where she would argue only wanted kids deserve care.
“It was wonderful to visit the @seattlechildren‘s Hospital-North Clinic in Everett, WA this week,” the senator tweeted. “I had a great time meeting the dedicated staff and seeing firsthand how they use their resources to serve children and families throughout Northwest WA.” But by early this evening, Patty Murray will have taken the unbelievable position that some children don’t deserve those resources — not even when they’re lying alone in a hospital just like that one, fighting to survive.
There will be people like Senator Tim Kaine (D-Va.) who try to hide what they’ve just done. They’ll cloak their votes in comfortable words and euphemisms. “This bill,” he said earlier, “would establish new requirements for health care practitioners in the case of a fetus who survives an abortion.” There’s no such thing as a “fetus” who survives an abortion. There are only newborns. Infants. Children.
“The word ‘fetus’, of course, is already working overtime to assist those who wish to disguise the reality of what takes place during an abortion procedure…”NRO’s Alexandra Desanctis points out. “But abortion defenders use the word as medical-sounding jargon, a crutch to dehumanize the unborn… But the bill doesn’t require transporting a fetus to the hospital. It requires transporting an infant to the hospital… It is the same human being both in and outside of its mother. That is the truth they are desperate to avoid.”
It’s the same sick logic Senator Barbara Boxer used in a 1999 debate with colleague Rick Santorum. When did the child become a human being, the Pennsylvanian asked her? “When you bring it home from the hospital”, she replied. Twenty years later, Senate Democrats agree. But they may be the only ones.
Polling companies that have been in business for decades can’t believe the waves of opposition rolling through the country over abortion right now. Masses of people, horrified by what’s happened in New York and Virginia (and disgusted by Democrats’ defense of it) are walking away from the “pro-choice” label. Almost overnight, the numbers have completely shifted away from the radicalism of the Democratic Party to a much more moderate – if not conservative – approach.
After just releasing their annual numbers last month, the people behind the Marist survey decided to re-poll Americans to see if opinions had changed in the brief, four-week span. And boy, have they!
In January, 55 percent of Americans called themselves “pro-choice,” compared to 38 percent who identified as “pro-life.” A 17-point gap. Today, the number of Americans who call themselves pro-life and pro-choice is dead-even at 47 percent. Just how significant is that?
This is the first time in the history of the Marist abortion poll that as many Americans have identified as pro-life as pro-choice. “This has been a measure that has been so stable over time. To see that kind of change was surprising. And the increased discussion [of late-term abortion] in the public forum in the past month appears to have made the biggest difference…”director Barbara Carvalho said.
President Trump certainly deserves some of the credit for that, as he shows the influence of his bully pulpit on life. In plain and vivid terms, he’s described the gruesome realities of abortion – and helped to significantly move the needle of public opinion.
And it’s no accident that filmmakers are driving those powerful messages home with movies like ‘Gosnell’ and, now, ‘Unplanned’. It’s impossible to watch these films and not be motivated by what New York has just done.
In ‘Unplanned’, the true story of Planned-Parenthood-Director-turned-pro-lifer Abby Johnson, the truth about what abortion really is led the Motion Picture Association of America to give the movie an R-rating. To some, it was the first clear acknowledgement that abortion is violence. To others, it was ironic. By restricting it to people over 17, a lot of teenage girls won’t be able to see the movie about a procedure that they can get legally at the same age.
“We are pushing the boundaries of what has never been before on such a wide scale by showing America exactly what abortion is. [It] is disturbing. It is violent… No one will be able to walk away after seeing this movie and say, ‘I didn’t know’.”

Anti Fed Ed Warriors, As we’ve known for a while now, the HEA (Higher Education Act) is up for a re-authorization. Frankly, it’s been up for a total re-authorization since 2008, the last time it was recycled. Since 2008, the HEA has been renewed. Meaning the funding to keep HEA has been updated.
With the updates in funds between then and now, little changes have been made here and there to keep up with the embedded unity between HEA, ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act), WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act), STEM Act of 2015 (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), and all that connects this ‘unholy quad’ of federal overreach.
Warriors, we’ve also heard several times since the CCSS Machine first started grinding away, that HEA is the last link in the chain to mandate (from the feds, down) workforce based education from cradle to grave. We also know Sen. Lamar Alexander swore as soon as ESSA passed into law (late 2015) that HEA was next on his radar.
The 115th Congressional Session did come very close to passing a new version of the HEA, both versions were stuck in their respective Committees and expired when the 116th Congressional Session was sworn in.
It’s been said that before Sen. Alexander retired HEA would be passed. He retires in 2020.
How do I know HR 4508 and S 615 have been retired?
According to the unidentified male clerk in Rep. Virginia Foxx’s office, HR 4508 will not be coming back in that same form. When I asked if Rep. Foxx had plans of re-introducing it (since it was ‘her’ bill in the first place), I got told there was no news on that. If there was, I’d get a letter, as in a ‘snail mail’ letter.
In the Senate, no mention whatsoever of S 615 can be seen from the current Session. So, we’ll have to wait, right? Not so fast, Warriors! (*Note: If you have any leads on re-introductions of these massive bills, please, share them! Thank you)
While I haven’t found current legislation to re-authorize the ENTIREHEA, I have found several bills which AMEND it.
There are several, and we’re just in the first part of the 116th’s Session.
(*Note: of the list below, you can sign up for alerts to any Bill you choose. Go to www.congress.gov, type in the Bill Letter(s) and numbers and choose ‘alerts’.)
HR 792(Opportunities for Success) will amend the HEA’s Section 441. That section focuses on federal work-study programs as well as complete ‘other purposes’. (*Note: as we’ve learned together, ‘other purposes’ is a phrase DC uses to cover their backsides when hiding things they don’t want us to discover.) Staring at $1.5 billion for FY 2020 (and increasing thereafter), HR 792 expands both the opportunity for ‘work-based learning’ as well as the definition of what ‘work-based learning’ is. Bottom line: blurs the lines between education and labor for streamlined workforce education.
HR 1153 amends HEA for ELLs (English Language Learners)
**As of this article no Bill text is available. The summary states it directs Sec. DeVos to award grants to higher education institutions to teach English.
HR 1161 amends HEA for clearer, more concise federal student loan information.
**As of this article no Bill text is available. The summary does state the nebulous ‘other purposes’ is in this Bill.
HR 625(PROPEL Act, Professional Pell Education Learning Act) amends HEA (Section 401) to expand who can qualify forPell Grantsfor certain trade schools. The ‘certain’ trade schools will be those which either teach skill based trades, flight schools, apprenticeships, and on-the-job training which can be completed in less than 15 weeks, 16 semester hours, 24 quarter hours or 600 clock hours. These schools don’t have to be accredited by a nationally recognized association. Bottom line: do we really want barely qualified pilots or other trades? Why are we fast tracking our students of all ages?
HR 640 (Student Simplification Aid Act) amends not only the HEA, but IRS Code as well. This will open up the data collection/sharing even more so than at the current rate, between the IRS and the U.S. Dept. of Education. This type of increase can best be described as‘student data rape’.
Bottom line: any contractor, sub-contractor, federal agency, cooperative partner has access to not only student data but family data.
S 468 amends Title II of the HEA (Professional Development) for ‘quality enhancement’. **As of this article no Bill text is available.
S234/HR 811 (identical sister bills) (Transparency in Student Lending Act) amends the HEA for financial disclosure rates. Bottom line: with student debt so high will rates continue to increase at the Fed’s control?
S 379 amends the IRS Code for 529 Accounts to include new higher education credentialing. **As of this article there is no Bill text for this.
HR 786 amends theMineral Leasing Actto use federal funds in K-12 and public higher education. Bottom line: federal funds sent to States to ‘supplement’ education is unconstitutional.
HR 653 (Expanding Access to the Workforce through Dual Enrollment Act of 2019) This Bill will establish or expand programs for CTE (Career Tech Education) where bridges between secondary and post-secondary schools. Also known as dual enrollment or concurrent enrollment as well as ‘other purposes’.
Bottom line: Each eligible school/institution will receive up to $1 million dollars for aligning academics to workforce based education.
S 532/HR 1229 (identical sister bills)amends the HEA for teacher loan forgiveness in connection with the Armed Forces and ‘other purposes’.
**As of this article no Bill text is available.
HR 662 (REACH Act), Report and Educate About Campus Hazing amends the HEA and provides for ‘other purposes’. This Bill defines what ‘hazing’ is; will involve partnerships between campuses and police enforcement; requires on-campus education.
**Bottom line: What group will be providing the education? What, if any, slant will be included? How much funding will be earmarked?
HR 65 (Enhancing Educational Opportunities for Home School Students Act) amends the IRS Code to expand what expenses 529 Accounts will cover.
**Bottom line: not only will K-12 expenses be included, but dual enrollment and some higher education items. (*Note: a related bill, HR 1084, Section 301, expands 529 accounts.)
S220 (529 Expansion and Modernization Act) this Bill will amend the 1986 IRS Code (as does HR 1084) covering 529 accounts for the costs of apprenticeships, early education, and related items.
**Bottom line: this is one of the first pieces of federal legislation I’ve seen where the cradle to grave system connects to money. Apprenticeships fall under CTE, Career Tech Education and tie to U.S. Labor. Early ed ties to U.S. Education. Another sign of a merger?
HR 778 (Educational Freedom Accounts) this Bill is for the District of Columbia to expand ‘school choice’. Eligible students must be enrolled in public school (including charters, excluding homeschooling).
**Bottom line: this Bill extends the ‘freedom’ of choice all the way to higher education, includes tutoring, and other types of services. Why is a NC Representative sponsoring this?
HR 334 (New Collar Jobs Act) will increase education for cyberspace jobs and ‘other purposes’. Amends the IRS Code of 1986 to increase employer contributions. Amends HEA for student loan repayments. Will definitely tie to STEM funds, jobs, and education.
**Bottom line: creates a CyberCorps scholarship for service program & increases federal cybersecurity contracts. This reeks of glorified ‘indentured servitude’, does it not?
HR 1094 (World Language Advancement and Readiness Act) will find the U.S. Dept. of Defense, the National Intelligence Agency, and, the U.S. Dept. of Education in partnership. Defense will offer competitive grants to States to increase world languages in K-12th grades. So that in higher education, world readiness isn’t such a hassle.
**Bottom line: portions of the federal footprint in education will shift to Defense funding. The global readiness is geared for the economy, not education. This Bill should die quickly, but has many co-sponsors (main sponsor is from NC).
HR 399 (PATH Act, Pre-Apprenticeships To Hardhats Act) puts U.S. Labor in charge of developing paths for low-income and rural populations for CTE education, P3s (public-private partnerships), and extend from K-12 to veterans.
**Bottom line: portions of the federal footprint in education will shift to Labor funding via competitive grants to States. Will allow for curriculum to shift to employer-based needs, not academic prowess.
S 275/HR 898 (Skills Investment Act) (identical sister bills) will amend the IRS Code of 1986 for ‘lifelong learning accounts’. Will codify the change via switching from “Coverdell Education Savings Accounts” to “Coverdell Lifelong Learning” Accounts. Will instantly convert existing ESAs to lifelong learning ones.
**Bottom line: the ‘follow the money’ follows the child for two reasons, a) data rape and b) career tracking. This system is based on the pay-as-you-go and is unconstitutional!
HR 827 (AI Jobs Act) lumps in ‘background summary’ in the long title of this Bill. “AI” is short for ‘Artificial Intelligence’. U.S. Labor will head up the collaborative effort to streamline data rape for workforce needs and then strain it all through education. Will encompass STEM education, workforce, and economy. This Bill will use community colleges as the ‘tool of choice’ for much of the alignment (thus amending the HEA).
**Bottom line: this will train us for those 21st-century jobs as well as track us to no end. Seeing how the federal government defines AI is truly spooky and shouldn’t be glossed over.
Okay, Warriors, there you have it, the list of HEA amendments which prove out a few things:
a) Many federal agencies have overreached (and will get to continue that process) into education to bastardize it.
b) Look how few actually have anything to do will ‘real’ education and everything to do with trained minions.
c) The global UN-led STEM is woven into our education, funding, jobs, economy, and finally ourselves. Just like it was forecast back in 2010.
d) Do you see the ‘choice’ bastardization via those ESAs (education savings accounts)? If ever anyone needed proof these accounts are 100% bogus, these Bills should do the trick.
e) Our legislators are not hiding the global economy or workforce agenda at all. With the blatant use of ‘lifelong learning’, it gives total credence and support to the OECD’s (Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development) rhetoric.
Warriors, the OECD is in cooperation with the UN and the US is in membership of BOTH.
A shocking new report from the Hawaii State Commission on the Status of Women paints a disturbing picture of law enforcement and their role in sex trafficking. The report found that instead of preventing child and adult sex trafficking, many police officers are participating in it.
The report is titled “Sex Trafficking in Hawaii: The Stories of Survivors,” which detailed the testimonials from multiple victims. One particularly disturbing part of the report was the fact that almost half of all the victims interviewed reported that police officers participated in their abuse and victimization.
“The corruption of members of the criminal justice system reported by the participants in the study was pervasive in their stories of being prostituted,” the report noted.
The report found that the average age of those being trafficked is just 14-years-old, showing how early the abuse began.
One of the victims interviewed, who wished to remain anonymous for obvious reasons explained that “the same people that are charging you for prostitution are the people turning around and buying it from you.”
Another participant in the study noted that police would even help to acquire the young girls drugs. The teenager was living in a drug house which had been busted by police and after the raid, the officer told the girl, “if you want pills, don’t mess with this little kid, you call me.”
Khara Jabola-Carolus, with the Hawaii State Commission on the Status of Women, explained that the abuse was extensive and on all levels of the spectrum. “This ranged from cops asking for sexual favors to more coercive situations like I’ll let you go if you do X, Y, or Z for me.’ Bring customers after hours in exchange for cigarettes or gas money,” she explained.
When confronted with this information about the abuse of sex trafficking victims by police officers, Honolulu Police Chief Susan Ballard issued the following statement:
“I am deeply concerned and will continue to ask the Commission to provide additional information so that HPD can investigate. We respect the participants’ privacy and understand why they do not want to be identified. However, if they can provide us with when or where the activity occurred and a description of the officer, we will investigate to the fullest extent possible. HPD does not condone the behavior described in the study under any circumstances.”
While the idea that police officers are abusing victims of sex trafficking may seem outlandish to some, it should come as no surprise to those who’ve been paying attention, especially out of Hawaii.
As the Free Thought Project previously reported in 2014, Honolulu police officers urged lawmakers to keep an exemption in state law that allows undercover officers to have sex with prostitutes during investigations. For years, Hawaii allowed their cops to have sex with prostitutes and victims of human trafficking while at the same time arresting these women.
It’s not just Hawaii either. In Michigan, police were granted immunity from prosecution if they had sex with a prostitute or a sex trafficking victim during an investigation. This was legal for law enforcement all the way up until 2018 when lawmakers had to get a bill passed to specifically outlaw the practice of having sex with victims of human trafficking.
Both the cops in Hawaii and in Michigan put up huge resistance to the outlawing of sex with human trafficking victims, claiming it was necessary to catch lawbreakers.
However, Bridgette Carr, a director of the Human Trafficking Clinic at the University of Michigan Law School, explained how cops used these laws to further exploit their victims.
“What I do know from my own clients is that people who either say they are cops, who are cops or who are impersonating cops, know about this exemption and threaten my clients with it sometimes,” she said.
Police officers using their power to exploit human trafficking victims is a common thread among many cases. On multiple occasions, the Free Thought Project has reported interviews of former child sex trafficking victims who’ve all noted that they had nowhere to go as police and high-level politicians all participated in the abuse.
In case after case, the Free Thought Project reports on horrifying instances of child sex rings that were allowed to go on for decades because politicians — including heads of states — policemen, clergy, and others were all in on the sick game.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has a very busy schedule of talking about herself on social media, on TV shows and podcasts and tin cans. She flits from conference to conference, proposes to abolish cows and planes, and her actual constituents are left in the dark.
The main function of an elected official is to serve their constituents. As bad as Rep. Crowley was, it’s hard to believe he could have done any worse than Cortez is doing.
The Westchester “Girl from the Bronx” only uses the place as the backdrop for narcissistic media coverage.
Ocasio-Cortez was in New York City last weekend and this weekend, with appearances in Queens on both Saturdays — yet she was not seen coming or going from her Parkchester pad either day.
Her apartment’s next-door neighbor said she had never seen Ocasio-Cortez. Another neighbor, who has lived down the hall from the congresswoman’s apartment for the last 40 years, said he’d never seen her or her boyfriend, Riley Roberts, who has claimed the address as his own since last spring.
“I would have remembered,” said the neighbor when shown a photograph of Ocasio-Cortez.
Workers at Jerry’s Pizzeria, less than a block from her building, and at the local grocery store said she had never patronized their businesses — and a server at a nearby taqueria said the congresswoman had only come in to be filmed by news crews.
A postal worker who delivers mail to the building said that in the last 10 years he has only seen Ocasio-Cortez intermittently, and that several months’ worth of mail regularly accumulates in the mailbox before anyone bothers to collect it. The worker said that Ocasio-Cortez and Roberts were the only ones getting mail at the address.
“Just because their names are on the box doesn’t mean they live there,” he said.
And in 2017, when Ocasio-Cortez first filed paperwork to become a congressional candidate, she didn’t even know what district she lived in, mistakenly declaring plans to run for neighboring District 15 before correcting the error days later.
Of course. Socialist carpetbaggers find areas they can exploit, but they don’t actually want to live there.
Meanwhile, her constituents are left high and dry.
Ocasio-Cortez has made four trips to the city since she was inducted to Congress on Jan. 3, according to a Post review of published reports and social media. Those excursions featured five public events in her district — and three high-profile Manhattan appearances, including a Jan. 21 guest slot on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”
The space slated for Ocasio-Cortez’s constituent office is in a new building in Jackson Heights.
Suites in the building at 74-09 37th Avenue rent for about $40 per square foot. Ocasio-Cortez’s office, on the third floor, is just under 5,000 square feet, which would bring the annual undiscounted rental price to $200,000 or nearly $17,000 a month.
When The Post visited last week, the congresswoman’s office was still under construction, with workers building interior walls and installing drywall. A carpenter there said the work would probably take several more weeks to complete. A staffer said at a community board meeting that it would open March 4.
In the absence of a district office, and with no way to contact the rookie congresswoman, voters have resorted to desperate measures.
“Constituents come here and leave notes on the door,” said the postal worker at her Parkchester apartment building last weekend. “But it’s a waste of time.”
And once the office does open, its only function will be promoting Cortez. Not helping her constituents.
They’ve gone from one absentee lefty Dem to another.
As DC gears up to infringe on your rights and violate the Constitution, multiple counties across New Mexico are voting to declare themselves “Second Amendment Sanctuary Counties” in a similar way to how some cities have voted to become sanctuary cities for those who are in the US illegally.
SAN JUAN COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – Three more counties have declared themselves Second Amendment Sanctuary Counties. San Juan, Lincoln and Eddy Counties have all adopted the resolutions, Tuesday.
At the San Juan County meeting, hundreds of people filled the room. These counties now join Quay, Curry, Union and Socorro Counties who pledge not to enforce certain new gun laws if they pass the state legislature.
The New Mexico Sheriff’s Association has been vocal against the gun bills, including one that would require background checks on all gun sales. It says the laws would be unenforceable and punish law-abiding citizens.
Other counties are also considering taking up the measure.
And here’s another report as the movement gains traction in the state.
Second Amendment advocates are praising the movement. For instance, the New Mexico Shooting Sports Association took to Twitter to advocate for more counties and municipalities to join in.
On Tuesday, the group pointed back to what seems to have been the catalyst, which was a resolution passed in 1994 in Carton County, New Mexico.
Back in 1994, Catron County NM passed a resolution opposing Federal Gun-Control. Today, counties are standing up again against anti-gun laws and for the rights of their residents. #nmpol#nmleg#2Apic.twitter.com/L1m2VfIVx2
Well done! Now, if we could just get people to start taking their counties back one at a time like this on every single right the government is supposed to be protecting but has been infringing on, then we might actually have a shot at restoring America, one county at a time.
Houston, TX — It has been three weeks since the Houston police department fabricated information which led to a no-knock raid on an innocent couple’s home. The botched raid left and innocent husband, an innocent wife, and their dog—all murdered—as well as four cops shot. Now, in a move TFTP has never seen, the Houston police department is claiming they are taking steps to prevent future scenarios like this from happening—by ceasing the use of no-knock raids.
“The no-knock warrants are going to go away like leaded gasoline in this city,” Chief Art Acevedo said during a heated town hall meeting on Monday.
“I’m 99.9 percent sure we won’t be using them,” he continued. “If for some reason there would be a specific case, that would come from my office.”
As TFTP reported over the weekend, after controversy and rumors have swarmed the case, the Houston police department has admitted that the entire raid was based on the lies of one of their own.
“That’s totally unacceptable. I’ve told my police department that if you lie, you die,” Acevedo said Friday. “When you lie on an affidavit, that’s not sloppy police work, that’s a crime.”
When speaking of these crimes on Monday, Acevedo noted that the officer responsible for lying about this raid will likely be charged. As to what those charges are, however, we are still unclear.
“I’m very confident we’re going to have criminal charges on one or more of the officers,” he said—to which the crowd responded, “All of them!”
The idea of ceasing the use of no-knock raids is revolutionary when it comes to policing in the United States.
Across the country—largely due to the failed drug war—policeconduct more than 20,000 no-knock raids a year.
“In theory, no-knock raids are supposed to be used in only the most dangerous situations … In reality, though, no-knock raids are a common tactic, even in less-than-dangerous circumstances,” Vox wrote in a revealing investigation in 2015. Case in point, the Tuttles.
A whopping 79 percent of these raids—like the one used to murder Dennis and Rhogena Tuttle—are for search warrants only, mostly for drugs. Just seven percent of no-knock raids are for crisis situations like hostages, barricaded suspects, or active shooters, according to an investigation by the ACLU.
What’s more, the study by the ACLU found that in 36 percent of SWAT deployments for drug searches, and possibly in as many as 65 percent of such deployments, no contraband of any sort was found.
Not only do these raids appear to be mostly unproductive, but they are often carried out on entirely innocent people based on lies, wrong information, or corruption, laying waste to the rights—and lives—of unsuspecting men, women, children, and pets.
For a department as large as Houston to be calling for an end to this practice is precedent setting. However, we will believe it when we see it. So far, it is just talk.
Moreover, Acevedo is refusing to allow the Texas Rangers to investigate the raid and is outspoken about keeping the investigation in house.
“I feel very strongly that a police department that is not capable of investigating itself and finding malfeasance and criminal misconduct,” he said, “we should just shut down — and that’s just not the case here.”
The idea that police officer Gerald Goines, who is accused of fabricating the evidence which led to the raid on the Tuttles, acted alone, seems sketchy at best. What motive would Goines have to make up evidence to justify a raid on an innocent family?
However, as we’ve seen in the case of Roderick Talley, drug task forces routinely conspire together to raid the homes of innocent people as a means of justifying themselves.
“We are sick and tired of dirt bags trying to take our lives when all we’re trying to do is protect this community and our families,” Houston Police Officers’ Union President Joe Gamaldi said after the raid last month, just before threatening to “track” police accountability activists.
But the Tuttles were not dirtbags and the only ones who took lives that day were his police officers who kicked in the door to an innocent family’s home, murdered their dog and then murdered the family. All of it was based on lies from the very people Gamaldi incessantly praises and defends. So who are the real “dirtbags?”
When asked whether he would fire Gamaldi or others allegedly surveilling or harassing activists, Acevedo said he wouldn’t deal with speculation, according to the Chron.
Acevedo then asked for video so he could look into the claim, as if he didn’t turn on the television at all after the raid to see Gamaldi say, “If you’re the ones that are out there spreading the rhetoric that police officers are the enemy, just know we’ve all got your number now, we’re going to be keeping track of all of y’all, and we’re going to make sure that we hold you accountable every time you stir the pot on our police officers.”
Now the question remains of whether or not this lying cop and his alleged accomplices will be charged with the murder of these two innocent people who did nothing wrong but defend their home from armed invaders who kicked in their door and shot their dog. Will the other officers, who unquestioningly took the word of this criminal cop be held accountable for their role in this murder? Or, will this single cop be used as a scapegoat, be written off as a bad apple, and the taxpayers foot the bill?
If it’s up to Joe Gamaldi, it will likely be the latter. For now, however, we can maintain solace in the fact that we may be soon having a national debate about the use of these unproductive and deadly no-knock raids.
“The goal of Socialism is Communism.” -Vladimir Lenin
It’s always interesting to watch Communists and Socialists interact in our society. Often they are working towards the same un-American goals, but it’s even more interesting when a Communist mayor, like Bill de Blasio, goes on national television to correct a so-called Socialist “economist” like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on her inability to correctly understand tax breaks as somehow there being money in their place. But he did, and said there wasn’t $3 billion in money. Why? Cause their incentives, not actual money.
While Ocasio-Cortez graduated with a degree in economics, which apparently hasn’t done her a bit of good, she claims the New York deal that was being worked out with Amazon that would have created 25,000 jobs and included $3 billion in tax incentives to the company just wasn’t a good idea because that $3 billion would have been better spent on teachers (hopefully, not ones that taught her economics courses), firefighters and other social programs (welfare).
Again, a simply understanding of economics would be nice from a woman with a degree in that area, but perhaps we are expecting to much from a possible Vice Presidential nominee.
As usual, Ocasio-Cortez was caught on video trying to put words to the clutter of whatever is going on in her head. Be warned, you will want to pull your hair and the person beside you’s hair out when you watch this, but we’re growing accustomed to this with AOC.
“We should not be giving away our infrastructure, our subway system, our schools, our teachers’ salaries, our firefighters’ budgets, to a company that has not shown good faith to New Yorkers. And we can ask for more because we deserve more.”
Rep. @AOC on Amazon: "We should not be giving away our infrastructure, our subway system, our schools, our teachers' salaries, our firefighters' budgets, to a company that has not shown good faith to New Yorkers. And we can ask for more because we deserve more." pic.twitter.com/LEDqb0gDhG
Only, you don’t have any! The entire American economy is based on debt, AOC!
However, even Communist Mayor Bill de Blasio had to explain that there was not any actual money to be spent elsewhere.
During an appearance on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” de Blasio agreed when host Chuck Todd said that the tax breaks offered to Amazon weren’t “money you had over here. And it was going over there.”
“Correct,” de Blasio said.
He added: “And that $3 billion that would go back in tax incentives was only after we were getting the jobs and getting the revenue.”
To further drive home the point, Todd said, “There’s not $3 billion in money —”
“There’s no money — right,” de Blasio said.
The exchange came after Todd suggested there was a “factual divide” that kept Ocasio-Cortez (D-Bronx) from understanding “how this deal worked.”
It seems that there are one of two things going on here: AOC is getting a lot of press to get her name in people’s mind for a future political bid, similar to the usurper Barry Soetoro, or they are just letting her run along in hopes that she totally derails her own caboose while the Democrat establishment unhitch her from their own trainwreck.
In the end, either of these people will get us to where there is “no money” for anyone but government and the tyrants who will be in charge. Meanwhile, I say let them just eat each other.
“It is interesting to hear certain kinds of people insist that the citizen cannot fight the government. This would have been news to the men of Lexington and Concord, as well as the Mujahedeen in Afghanistan. The citizen most certainly can fight the government, and usually wins when he tries. Organized national armies are useful primarily for fighting against other organized national armies. When they try to fight against the people, they find themselves at a very serious disadvantage. If you will just look around at the state of the world today, you will see that the guerillero has the upper hand. Irregulars usually defeat regulars, providing they have the will. Such fighting is horrible to contemplate, but will continue to dominate brute strength.” –Col. Jeff Cooper
When one discusses the real reason for the Second Amendment – the right of citizens to defend themselves against a potentially tyrannical government – inevitably someone points out the stark difference in firepower between a guerilla uprising in the United States and the United States government itself.
There is much historical precedent, however, for guerilla uprisings defeating more powerful enemies. For instance, the Cold War saw both superpowers brought to their knees by rural farmers – for the Soviets, their adventure in Afghanistan against the Mujahideen, and for the United States, the Vietnam War against the Viet Cong.
In both cases, nuclear weapons could have been used against the guerilla uprising, but were not. Even assuming the use of nuclear weapons from the position of total desperation, it’s hard to imagine they would have made much of a difference in the final outcome of either conflict. Unlike the invading armies, the local resistance enjoyed both broad-based support as well as knowledge of the local terrain.
Now imagine such a scenario in the United States. You wouldn’t be the first person to do so. From Red Dawn to James Wesley, Rawles’Patriots series, there is a relatively long-standing tradition of American survival literature about the hoi polloi resisting the tyranny of big government, either before or after a collapse.
For the purposes of this article, consider what a domestic American terrorist or freedom fighter (after all, the label is in the eye of the beholder) organization based on the militia movement would look like in open revolt against the United States government. In the spirit of levity, we’ll call them the “Hillbilly Viet Cong.” They would most likely find their largest numbers in Appalachia, but don’t discount their power in the American Redoubt, or the more sparsely populated areas of the American Southwest, including rural Texas.
Here we have tens of thousands of Americans armed to the teeth with combat experience, deep family ties to both the police and the military, extensive knowledge of the local geography, and, in many cases, survivalist training. Even where they are not trained, militant and active, they enjoy broad support among those who own a lot of guns and grow a lot of food.
On the other side, you have the unwieldy Baby Huey of the rump U.S. government’s military, with some snarky BuzzFeed editorials serving as propaganda.
Could the Hillbilly Viet Cong take down the USG? Maybe, maybe not. But it’s difficult to imagine that the USG could take them down.
Indeed, even with a number of nasty little toys on the side of the federal government, we live in an age of a technologically levelled playing field. This is true even when it comes to instruments of warfare. While the USG has nuclear weapons, it’s worth remembering that a pound of C4 strapped to a cheap and readily available commercial-grade drone is going to break a lot of dishes.
This sort of guerilla insurgency has a name: It’s called fourth-generational warfare (4GW), and you might be surprised to learn that you already live in this world.
What Are the First Three Generations of Warfare?
To understand how 4GW is a new and improved form of war, we first need to explain what the first three generations of warfare were:
The first generation (1GW) is basically what you would have seen in the movie 300. The hallmarks of this generation of warfare are armies from two different state actors leveraging line-and-column tactics and wearing uniforms to distinguish between themselves.
The second generation (2GW) comes with the advent of rifling and breech-loaded weapons. As students of military history know, the invention of rifling was one of the reasons that the United States Civil War was so bloody. This meant that firearms that were once mostly for show after 100 feet or so, were now deadly weapons – and tactics did not immediately evolve.
But evolve they did. Many things we take for granted as being just part of warfare – such as camouflage, artillery, and reconnaissance – are defining features of 2GW. The American Civil War is probably the first 2GW conflict. Others include the First World War, the Spanish Civil War and, much more recently, the Iran-Iraq War. The United States military coined this phrase in 1989.
This phase of warfare, also known a 3GW, is the late modern version of warfare, where speed and stealth play a much bigger role. Weapons and tactics alone are less important. Instead, military units seek to find ways to outmaneuver one another before – or even instead of – meeting on the battlefield.
The era of 3GW was initiated with the Blitzkrieg, which marked the decisive end to cavalry and replaced it with tank and helicopter warfare. Junior officers were given more leeway to give orders. The Second World War was the first 3GW conflict, with the Korean, Vietnam and both Iraq Wars becoming further examples of this style of fighting.
What Is Fourth-Generation Warfare?
The most direct way of discussing 4GW is to say that it describes any war between a state actor and a non-state actor. This is also known as asymmetrical warfare, but it’s not the only difference between 4GW and other, earlier forms of conflict. Asymmetrical warfare does, to be sure, blur the lines between combatants and civilians. This is in part what made the Bush-era “war on terror” so difficult and complicated: The war was against a set of ideas rather than a nation or even an extra-national army.
There are a number of characteristics that flow from the state actor vs. non-state actor aspect of 4GW. The first is the use of terrorism as a regular tactic, almost always on the part of the non-state actor. Particularly for the state actor, non-combatants become tactical problems – you simply can’t just carpet bomb and hope everything works out.
The non-state actors tend to be highly decentralized. One faction can stop fighting as another 10 crop up in its place. Funding and source of manpower and material comes from a wide array of sources spread out over nearly the entire globe. This necessarily makes 4GW long and drawn out over years or perhaps even decades. The psychological warfare, propaganda and lawfare aspects are an integral part of the conflict.
The genesis of 4GW lies in the Cold War and the post-colonial era. Insurgent groups and counter-insurgency groups vied for power, often times with state actors operating behind the scenes and in the background. Sometimes the goal was to establish a new state or reestablish a defunct one. However, many times the only goal was to delegitimize the existing state and create a power vacuum.
Places such as Laos, Myanmar, Iran, Guatemala, Vietnam, the Congo, Cuba, East Timor, Korea, Poland, and Afghanistan were all pieces in the global chessboard of the Cold War as various insurgency and counter-insurgency groups backed by the Soviets, the Americans, and/or the Chinese fought one another or fought against occupying forces.
What Is the Difference Between 4GW and Asymmetrical Warfare?
Put simply, all 4GW is asymmetrical, but not all asymmetrical warfare is 4GW. It refers to virtually any asymmetry in combat. This can be as simple as one military having more advanced technology than another – for example, the English longbow at the Battle of Crécy gave the English forces a decisive technological advantage. The Spartan forces were greatly outnumbered by their Persian adversaries and used the landscape to compensate.
In one sense, 4GW can be seen as asymmetric warfare come to full fruition. The less powerful forces must find a way to compensate for their relative lack of strength. On the other hand, the stronger forces must paradoxically find ways to compensate for their abundance of strength. This is because of the all-important propaganda war, an integral part of 4GW. State actors often seek deniability during war by proxy when engaging non-state actors.
John Boyd, Chuck Spinney, and 4GW
Colonel John Boyd may be the most remarkable unsung hero in all of American military history. Widely considered to be the greatest U.S. fighter pilot ever, Boyd developed the F-15 and F-16, revolutionized ground tactics in war, and covertly designed the coalition battle plans for the 1990-91 Gulf War. He foresaw 4GW, and he shunned wealth, fame, and power in his pursuit to get things done, despite the bureaucracy of the Pentagon.
Boyd closely studied Sun-Tzu (The Art of War) and Carl von Clausewitz (On War). This informed his push for greater adaptability and agility of United States fighting forces. Simple, cheap, effective, dependable, durable weapons were prized over flashy tricks. Decentralized command, control and communications were Boyd’s cause – looking for a way to avoid burying boots on the ground underneath layers of officers with potentially less field knowledge than they had.
Franklin C. “Chuck” Spinney became the voice of 4GW preparation after Boyd’s passing inside the Pentagon. He spent more than 20 years campaigning against rigid forms of thinking and budget bloat. Spinney believes that the 9/11 attacks should have been a wake-up call for the United States military, and sees 4GW as something beyond mere terrorism, but rather a new form of warfare. He believes the United States military is stuck in second-generation warfare thinking and is woefully unequipped for 4GW. Ultimately, Spinney believes that the United States military’s response to 9/11 in particular and 4GW, in general, was not enough.
Where Is 4GW Happening Today?
While many think 4GW is something in the far-off future, it’s actually happening right now. The most archetypal 4GW is perhaps the conflict with ISIS – a non-state actor with recruits all over the world in conflict with several states. Some of the conflict is classically military, but there is also the propaganda war taking place all over the Internet. In fact, ISIS was using the PlayStation network to communicate because they correctly believed it wasn’t being monitored by international intelligence services. These attacks on the West were not limited to the area controlled by ISIS, but extended all around the world.
Counter-attacking ISIS was a bit like trying to catch water in a net. Attacking ISIS proper was possible: There was territory. But attacking the support of ISIS was a whole other problem.
It’s worth noting that the international Islamist movement is not limited to ISIS. Al-Qaeda and its offshoots still exist. What’s more, they seem to multiply over time. This is another feature of 4GW. A state actor can make peace with one faction of a group while other, more militant factions simply retreat deeper into the metaphorical mountains to continue the fight – which is precisely the situation that the Republic of the Philippines has faced in its struggle against the Moros separatists of the Southern Philippines.
But the Philippines and Syria are all likely far away from where you live in terms of geography, sociology, demographics and culture. What does 4GW have to do with London, Paris or even Springfield, MO? Probably a lot more than you think.
Is 4GW Coming to the Developed World?
Is fourth-generational warfare coming to the developed world? Quite possibly, especially when you consider the spectre of failed states in the West.
Many Western states are not quite as stable as they are made out to be. Sweden and France, in particular, have extensive problems with No Go Zones. Other parts of Europe want to secede, such as Catalonia in Spain, and are being violently suppressed from doing so.
Elsewhere around the world, previously first-world countries like South Africa are deteriorating in the span of a generation due to government mismanagement. The United States, for its part, is in what some have described as a “Cold Civil War,” with many futurists agreeing that the potential for outward civil war is greater than you’d like to think.
How might such a 4GW scenario play out in the West? There are two potential scenarios, one for Europe and one for the United States. Each of these is worth considering.
4GW: The European Model
For our purposes, we’re going to call this the “European Model” of 4GW. This is because this model is based on the political and social realities of life in Europe today. It is by no means the only place something like this could unfold, nor is it impossible that 4GW could unfold in an entirely different way in Europe.
4GW in Europe will likely be an outgrowth of No Go Zones and resulting failed states. Geographic areas within European nations will likely increase in size. And conflict will likely develop between the de facto areas of the No Go Zones, as well as more militant elements of the civilian population. While there is not much of a militia movement to speak of in Europe, in true 4GW fashion, people will find ways to improvise weapons out of what they have available to them.
It’s impossible to talk about this phenomenon in Europe without discussing the ethnic and religious character of the areas, as ethnic and ethno-religious conflict will likely be the infrastructure for such a war – especially since many of these areas have legal and social structures based on Islamic laws and customs.
In a scenario leading to a 4GW conflict in mainland Europe, attacks on civilians will escalate while the legitimate civilian authority is increasingly incapable of dealing with it. There will be both an inability and an unwillingness to maintain legal norms within larger and larger areas in Europe.
Next would come the formation of militias. The model here is close to what happened in Lebanon during its civil war. Militias will form around political, ethnic and religious lines. Some of these will be the No Go Zones attempting to consolidate their power. Others will be European civilians seeking to protect themselves and their neighborhoods from the growing power of the No Go Zones. This, in turn, will further fuel the breakdown in government control. Members of the government, both law enforcement and military, will increasingly pick sides in the conflict, leaving their allegiance to the rump state behind. In the end, this will make it more difficult for the state to assert its power.
The remaining government will begin taking measures against free speech and free association in an attempt to crack down and regain lost power. But at this point, the battle will mostly already be lost. Factions of the government will cease cooperating with one another, making it harder and harder to maintain order. These factions will, to varying degrees, start lining up behind the militias and parallel legal structures that have begun cropping up at the street level. This will also be the time foreign governments will step in and begin supporting local militias more. An example of this is Serbian-backed militias in Croatia and Bosnia during the Yugoslav Wars, or Israeli support of Maronite Christians and Iranian support of Shiite Muslims during the Lebanese Civil War.
Crime will increase, but not just petty street crime. Insurgent movements have a long history of using organized crime to fund their operations and the 4GW conflicts in Europe would be no exception to this. The drug trade, human trafficking and financially driven kidnapping are three examples of how militias will fund themselves using extra-legal means. This will serve as an additional cause to restrict freedom of movement through both de jure and de facto means within a nation’s borders, another case where the Yugoslav Wars and Lebanese Civil War are instructive cases. Conversely, refugee scenarios will develop, which will further complicate the situation.
4GW: The American Model
The American 4GW Model is somewhat different and is based more on ideological and political differences than ethnic and cultural ones – though the ethnic and cultural differences will play a role, as we will soon see.
In the United States, the federal system of government can play a key role. For example, while the prospect of a gun ban causing the peasants to pick up their pitchforks and torches is unlikely, a scenario where states simply refuse to enforce the law is far closer to the realm of possibility. Consider that this is already starting under the Trump Administration – cities and states are refusing to comply with the President’s directives on federal immigration law. Flipping the script, it’s worth wondering just how much state and federal compliance a federal ban on AR-15s, a high tax on ammunition, or a call for widespread registration would generate.
The red state / blue state divide is very real, but it also exists within states as well as between them. In the event that a cleavage between the two political and cultural halves of America started, this divide would become increasingly unstable within the states themselves.
Unlike Europe, the United States has a homegrown militia movement that is heavily armed and, to varying degrees, ready for battle. When the AR-15 is talked about as a “weapon of war on our streets,” it is frequently mentioned in the same breath how an insurrection in the United States would never stand a chance against the modern weapons of war wielded by the federal government. This would be news to the Viet Cong. People who make such statements are unaware of the dynamics of 4GW.
While the political aspects are very real, so are the demographic ones. In particular, there is the spectre of the Scotch-Irish in Appalachia. These are a people with hundreds of years of long skepticism (and often outright hostility) toward the federal government. It’s also, geographically speaking, a very difficult place to conquer. Eric Rudolph evaded the feds for five years in the mountains of North Carolina, despite being on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitive List.
This segment of American society has a significant connection to both the police force and the military. Simple suggestions that local police, SWAT teams or even the military will be quick to crush such a rebellion are ill-informed on two counts. First, the aforementioned one: In many cases, the military and police who are being sent out are going to be friends, family and intimates of the Hillbilly Viet Cong. What’s more, due to the extensive military experience in this area, many of the foot soldiers of an anti-government rebellion centered in Appalachia would not only just be trained, but also battle-tested. Divided loyalties always play a role in 4GW, and the United States will be no exception.
The weapons of war are leveled in 4GW. There is air war by drones, but also the role of computer hacking, kidnapping and other unsavory activities. The point of 4GW, from the perspective of the underdog, is less about “winning” in some quick and dramatic fashion, and more about dragging out the conflict as long as possible, causing the dominant power to lose through blood loss and death by 1,000 cuts.
Consider the Vietnam Conflict: Between the end of the French occupation of Vietnam in 1954, through the Fall of Saigon when U.S. forces abandoned the city to the Viet Cong, the American Vietnam War lasted approximately 20 years. And that doesn’t count the seven bloody years of French occupation post-WW2, when French colonial forces lost approximately 100,000 troops attempting to put down the guerilla movement in Indochina.
Finally, there’s the U.S. government’s track record in 4GW. The United States does not have a solid track record of being able to defeat guerilla insurgencies. From the Filipino Insurrection in the late 19th century to the current Afghan insurgency – the United States military can make inroads against 4GW actors, but it’s never really able to seal the deal.
4GW in America: The Battle of Athens
There is a history of 4GW in the United States and we don’t need to go very far back to find it. In 1946, there was an uprising of the citizens of Athens, TN (in McMinn County) to reestablish the rule of law. The story illustrates how American patriots resisting domestic tyranny can succeed in their struggles.
Citizens of Athens had complained about election fraud since 1940. The town was filled with battle-hardened veterans from both the European and Pacific theaters of World War II. This filled them with a militancy that did not exist before the war. Several citizens of Athens had complained, but the administration of Franklin Roosevelt did nothing, perhaps because the town was ruled over by an entrenched Democratic Party machine.
First, the men ran one of their own, a GI named Knox Henry, for sheriff. They wanted fair elections, so they petitioned the FBI to monitor, a request which was denied. The machine, for their part, imported 200 strong arms to “protect” the polling places from voters. In one case, a deputy pointed his revolver at a GI, ejecting him from the polling station and telling him “If you sons of bitches cross this street I’ll kill you!” Poll watchers were arrested and in one case, a black poll watcher was shot. Finally, the party machine locked the ballot boxes up in the county jail.
Despite lacking in numbers, ammunition and arms, the veterans used the key to the local armories belonging to the State and National Guard. This evened the score considerably. They went to the jail house and requested the release of the ballot boxes, but were rebuffed with the sheriff’s men shooting two of the GIs. A firefight erupted and the GIs were reinforced by men from neighboring Meigs County and their IEDs. Eventually, the sheriff and his men surrendered, releasing the ballots.
After obtaining the ballots, the men cleaned and returned the weapons. The GI candidate was elected sheriff and several others were elected to key county positions.
This demonstrates 4GW in miniature in the United States. For those concerned about nuclear retaliation or other heavy guns the USG has, it’s worth noting that the underdog can always obtain some of these weapons by hook or by crook.
The Militia Movement and 4GW
No discussion of 4GW in the United States would be complete without touching on the militia movement, something specific to the U.S. While Europe has a history of factions in the military who oppose the government (the French Secret Army Organization is the most famous of these), it does not, to nearly the same extent as the United States, have men actively training in the woods getting ready for civilizational collapse or 4GW.
The militia movement began in the early 1980s, when it was known as the Posse Comitatus movement. It exploded (no pun intended) after the attack on the Oklahoma City Federal Building and the showdown at Ruby Ridge. By the mid-1990s, the militia movement had a presence in all 50 states and was comprised of approximately 60,000 people.
Note that the militia movement is no longer limited to the political right. Left-wing organizations have begun openly training with arms since the election of Donald Trump as President in 2016. In any kind of 4GW scenario in the United States, it’s likely that these two strains of the militia movement would come into conflict with each other, as well as the United States government. And don’t forget about the narcissism of small differences that tends to plague fringe political movements – the most bitter enemies in a 4GW conflict in the United States will likely be competing factions of left- and right-wing political movements.
Skills Required for 4GW
Combat isn’t the only helpful skill for 4GW. If you’re concerned with 4GW and want to get ready for everything to go down, here’s a list of skills for you to acquire in preparation for 4GW.
Weapons Versatility: Let’s just get this out of the way. Combat training with a variety of weapons is important for 4GW. This is because in 4GW, combatants often have to use weapons commandeered from their enemies. What they capture can vary widely from what their unit ordinarily uses.
Survivalism: Knowing how to live off the land is an indispensable skill for any SHTF scenario, and 4GW is no exception to this rule. 4GW combatants must know how to hunt, fish, trap, track, stay hidden, find potable water, and prep game.
First Aid: Any time there’s combat, there are casualties. 4GW requires the knowledge of first aid at the very least. Knowing other medic skills is a welcome addition to the toolkit as well.
Physical Fitness: Those involved in 4GW combat will have to walk long distances, often with a lot of weight strapped to their back. Being in top physical condition can mean the difference between life and death.
Navigation: 4GW combatants need to know the area, but they also need to know how to find their way around unfamiliar terrain. That means without electronic equipment, and instead using items like compasses and maps.
Demolition: This might also be filed under weapon versatility. Demolition is a big part of 4GW for depriving the enemy of a base and cutting off lines of communication and transit.
Many of the above skills are just as helpful when it comes to general survivalism, so you don’t have to be getting ready for 4GW to make them worth acquiring. And as with any kind of SHTF preparation and training, we hope you never have to use what you learn.
The federal government has increasingly been engaging in public-private partnerships (P3) as a way in which to fund projects. A huge portion of these partnerships involves conservation and land use, but not to the advantage of Idahoans. Rep. Simpson was previously involved in the Boulder-White Clouds designation as a wilderness and actively engaged with the Idaho Conservation League to get that accomplished. Aside from his alliance with non-governmental organizations (NGO), who they themselves are heavily financed by foundations, he is now taking a direct turn to corporate troughs for their endless pit of money, money that is often used to suck up land for non-use, known as syndicated conservation easements.
Sen. Risch and Idaho Fish & Game have also turned to corporate money to fund conservation. It seems Rep. Simpson has adopted that approach. Along with Rep. Kilmer (D-WA), Rep. Simpson introduced the Land and National Park Deferred Maintenance (LAND) Act. Federal “investment” using corporate profits? Using energy revenues, this bill would “…permanently reauthorize LWCF and create new dedicated funding to address the maintenance backlog at National Parks and other public lands.”. The Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) was allowed to expire September 30, 2018, and for good reason. As Rep. Bishop points out, the original LWCF intent was to “preserve, develop and ensure access to outdoor recreation facilities” splitting money between state funding and federal land acquisition, with 60 percent going to states. Because of intense lobbying by environmental groups, the majority of that money now goes to the federal government for land acquisition, having added another 5 million acres of land under federal control.
Corporatism over our lands advanced after Bass Pro founder John L. Morris, with other corporate and NGO friends, created the Blue Ribbon Panel (BRP) in 2014 to fund State Wildlife Action Plans (SWAP), which targets species and habitats for conservation, for 1.3 billion. The same 1.3 billion dollars keeps popping up in other legislation. Restore Our Parks and Public Lands Act, introduced in 2018, also addresses the same maintenance backlog of parks, with the same 1.3 billion, in addition to Rep. Simpson’s and Sen. Risch’s bills. President Trump even previously budgeted Department of Interior money from sales of energy resources on public land for park maintenance backlog in 2018, and again this year. A full accounting of the Department of Interior 2019 budget can be found here. If corporate money is used for these activities, who has control over the land and how it is used? Will our national parks become corporate dens? Environmental groups are thrilled to potentially have their trough restored, regardless of which bill succeeds or where the money comes from.
It should be no surprise that P3 “investments” are increasing. Throughout Agenda 21 are references to creating P3’s for Sustainable Development (SD) implementation. NGOs such as Yellowstone to Yukon are heavily funded by foundations and governments, admit to corporate funding, and are even allowed to accept foreign funding for SD. If energy revenues are used for maintenance backlog, what will be the payoff for the corporation in advertising and product distribution? Concern about corporate involvement from corporate donations has already been raised, just how much corporate control will there be through the influence of a P3? What concerns will there be with large sums of money that rebuild infrastructure? Who will get the sweetest deal? How much advertising will be allowed with slogans like, “This eco-restroom was proudly restored by Shell”? We have already seen our sports stadiums being renamed in the honor of some corporation, will this become the direction for our parks? National Parks have a permitting process for commercial activities with requirements on allowed activities. What constraints will be created for corporate financing through a P3?
Below is a short video on Agenda 21 P3. Or a slightly longer version is here.
Agenda 2030 is no exception for P3, if anything it is an advancement. Keeping in mind that the United Nations (UN) has partnerships with major corporations to implement SD, a.k.a. Agenda 21/2030, it is the natural course for them to use these partnerships as an avenue to integrate their agenda into governments with P3. Because of the SD goals for changing our infrastructure, corporate funding becomes necessary, at least according to the UN, even holding conferences on it. This is a natural way in which to fund and advance their agenda, the caveat for money acquisition is corporate SD requirements, and so very sadly, our elected officials fall for it. Or do they know about it and agree? With P3s, the UN is directing us into corporatism, where our country will be run by corporations through our government, and they have a plan just for that, Vision 2050, it is all laid out on what the world will look like with corporate governance.
Why, Why, Why do we continually fail to remove traitors of our Constitution from elected office? Why are we not able to come together enough for a force that will end this continued destruction of our sovereignty? We cannot continue to haplessly stand by and allow this to happen. President Trump says America will never be a socialist country, yet everything now continues to lead us that way, and in some cases, we are already there. P3s are just another way in which it is being done.
Contact Rep. Simpson and let him know you vehemently oppose his bill that destroys our sovereignty, that we do not want corporations funding our public lands, that the LWCF should not be renewed due to its use as a government trough for accruing more land, and if he chooses to not listen to his constituents every effort will be made to remove him from office at the next election, or sooner by recall. Pass this on to everyone you know, have them pass it on. It doesn’t just affect Idahoans, it will affect every citizen in America.
(The Washington Standard) As is the case with many things that take place, the media was virtually MIA (Missing in Action) when it came to a President Donald Trump’s rescission of the delegation of authority to the Veterans Administration. However, The Washington Standard have obtained a copy of the memorandum signed by United States Secretary of Veterans Affairs Robert L. Wilkie.
According to the memo, the following Delegations of Authority to the Chief of Staff, dated February 2, 2009, and February 26, 2018, are rescinded:
Delegation of Authority to Review and Sign an Agency Report to the Office of Special Counsel
Delegation of Authority to make Determinations on “No Action” Recommendations regarding Senior Executive Service and title 38 Senior Executive Equivalent Employees
Delegation of Authority for Disciplinary Actions Relating to Intentional Discrimination and Retaliation
Delegation of Authority to Sign on Behalf of the Secretary
Delegtation of Authority to Approve Personnel Actions
Delegation of Authority to Approve All Permanent Change of Station/Relocation Actions
Delegation of Authority for Rulemaking, Notices, and Significant Guidance Documents
This basically takes the authority of anyone in the VA to sign anything on behalf of the Secretary of Veterans Affairs, who answers to the president, away from them. Therefore this memo says that the buck stops with Secretary Wilkie, and even ultimately, under our Constitution, with President Trump.
The policy became effective August 3, 2018.
However, an internet search will demonstrate that no major media outlet even covered this important memo. However, we’re providing the documentation to the American people and doing the job of the press that they are supposed to do rather than engaging in their propaganda.
Anti Fed Ed Warriors, after 10 years of research and 5 years of blogging, the trails connecting educratic overreach literally span the globe.
By far and away, the most ‘picked upon’ school subject shoving the CCSS Machine agenda down our throats is SCIENCE.
Why science? Well, if you look at the history of science, it was a way in which to explore the wonder and awe of God’s creation. It was a way in which discoveries truly made life better. It was a way to learn which truly delighted the senses and helped create imagination.
Fast forward to near the Renaissance time and secular humanism entered the picture. This was the very beginning of divorcing God from science. To this day, there are many who embrace that science is more credible than God. Vice versa, those who still regard science as a way in which to discover and better life, see the two as intertwined.
The reason this type of context is important leads to our modern day education reform which so pivots off science. The ‘teaching’ of science has become a former shadow of greatness.
Science, especially as the UN (United Nations) and UNESCO have spun it, has BECOME a god.
Why does that matter in the US?
Because the United States has adopted the UN/UNESCO’s ‘science as a god’ mentality via STEM and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and, Math/Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and, Math).
IF you’d like to see (for the first time or as a review) my extensive amount of research into how embedded the U.S. Government, including Congress, has made STEM/STEAM. Here is the link for STEM/STEAM/UNESCO (2 pages). Here’s the link for STEM/STEAM/UN (7 pages).
Below are the most relevant which will connect to the new Bill from the 116th Congressional session.
From 2015, the traceable connections from the CCSS to STEMtoSTEAM shift for every single educational choice and age available in the United States.
From 2016, the CCSS and UNESCO ideologymatch to incorporate STEM into CTE (Career Tech Education), CCR (College and Career Readiness). Next Gen Social Studies and Next Gen Science would follow suit. The crux of the ideology? Collectivism in life, belief, and action all to sustain the Earth.
From 2018, how BOTH major political parties have inserted, supported, and, codified UNagenda into US legislation and programs to usher in STEM/STEAM via infrastructure, as well as education.
From August 2018, the FY 2019 STEMbudgetearmarked $150 million from one Chamber of Congress and $160 million from the other. Then, add in an Executive Order expanding apprenticeships which include STEM/STEAM.
From October 2018, how STEM budget money and programs stoop to exploit gender, involve social impact bonds, and, create havoc in education as well as the nation.
HR 627 was introduced by Rep. Rob Wittman of VA. Below, is a screenshot from Rep. Wittman’s Congressional website. (*Note: the added rhetorical question is one I’ve longed to ask EVERY Congress member and President since 2009!!)
Of Rep. Wittman’s “Issues”, education is dead last on the list. However, the Representative does brag about his service during the 115th Session in pumping up CTE and STEM for education. I encourage you to enlarge this screenshot or open in a new tab. The dynamics of the language used is almost comical if this wasn’t so tragically real.
HR 627’s Language:
Warriors, this House of Representatives Bill is called the‘STEM Research and Education Effectiveness and Transparency Act’. HR 627 is 5 pages long. It’s currently in the House Committee of Science, Space, and Technology.
1) As we’ve seen so many times in STEM/STEAM related initiatives, programs, funding, and bills or laws, HR 627 targets women and under-served minorities for STEM jobs and careers.
2) It directs the NSF (National Science Foundation), to direct the entire program being expanded (ie: bigger government overreach). It was the NSF, the UN influenced to force STEM into President Obama’s agenda which has been extended by President Trump.
3) Involves any US federal agency with $100 million in FY 2019 Research and Development earmarked funds.
4) Ties to the HEA of 1965 (Higher Education Act, currently being updated for a renewed passage). Grants and merit awards in Research/Development will be given for STEM in higher education and government jobs. Any federal laboratory job awarded or given under HR 627 parameters are defined by the Stevenson-Wydler Technology Innovation Act of 1980, Sect. 4.* (a brief explanation of what the public law established is below.) What HR 627 will do is EXPAND upon that foundation for use in #5.
5) Expands the data tracking of students as well as economic and demographics. (aka:‘data rape’).
6) Expands the NSF power and authority (an independent US government agency). The Director of the program HR 627 sets up will be housed in the Office of Science and Technology Policy (Executive Branch).
7) Includes the Congressional catch all phrase ‘and other purposes’.
8) No less than 1 year after HR 627 is made into law (if it survives), the NSF will report (per the Section 37 of the NSF Authorization and Science and Technology Equal Opportunity Act; brief explanation below) to Congress how effective efforts to target women and underrepresented populations have been. Whatever efforts have been successful will be credited to the universal streamlining of data. What isn’t successful will be tweaked and streamlined. ALL data will backtrack to the past 5 years as well.
9) Defines STEM as per the America COMPETES Act, 42 U.S. C. 6621 note (description below) of 2010.
i) Stevenson-Wylder Technology Innovation Act of 1980 established technology centers around the nation to support the innovation in commerce, economics, environment, and social well-being of Americans. Here’s an excerpt from the Public Law 96-480” Cooperation among academia, Federal laboratories, labor, and industry, in such forms as technology transfer, personnel exchange, joint research projects, and others, should be renewed, expanded, and strengthened.” Section 4 (page 2), defines the Secretary of Commerce is in power. Also defines ‘non-profits’. Education is thrown in, too.
and Technology Equal Opportunities Act”.) stated that beginning in 1982, every 2 years the NSF must include the U.S. Dept. of Education, U.S. Dept. of Labor, the U.S. Dept. of HHS, and others in its data reports.
iii) America COMPETES Act of 2010, 42 U.S. C. 6621 note basically made STEM a federal entity with its own law, funding, activities, and more, especially in education. Public private partnerships (P3s) were also included. The 2010 Act(scroll down to the summary) was a re-authorization of an earlier COMPETES Act. “COMPETES” is short for ‘Creating Opportunities to Meaningfully Promote Excellence in Technology, Education, and Science’
(*Note: there was an America COMPETES Act2015 versionI wrote about, which also can be tied to the HR 627 above)
Warriors, I hope you can see that once again, the 116th Congress isn’t really promoting excellent education or terrific jobs. This entire series I’m writing all has ONE word in common: data. HR 627 expands government, but it also expands the data tracking, BUT it’s using STEM to accomplish it. As was written in the 2010 PCAST Report about STEM: it would make us STEM people in a STEM nation with a STEM workforce for a STEM economy to gel with the globalism. How’s that for making science a god and turning us into minions, not free willed people to bow to the UN’s agenda?! This is what your federal government of the US has set into place.
Editor’s Note: I guess we can say that Apple was not being American when it came to the San Bernardino jihadis, but covering for them. When an actual American needs those protections, they are all too willing to sell out. So much for Steve Jobs’ way of doing things. Apple: the new technological domestic enemy of Americans… and yes, I hope their stocks tank after this. Stop using icloud and any other products “in the cloud,” and create your own that stays in the privacy of your own home. Click here to start.
Traitors and totalitarians. We know that the social media giants have been at war with those who oppose jihad for quite some time, and are actively committed to banning and blocking counter-jihad accounts and imposing sharia blasphemy restrictions. But this is a step even farther. After touting defending the privacy rights of the San Bernardino jihad mass murderers, Apple turned on a dime and handed over access to all of Roger Stone’s data. This shows what they think is a worse crime: not jihad mass murder, but dissenting from the left’s agenda and supporting President Trump. Apple is evil.
“Apple Gives Deep State Access To Roger Stone’s iCloud Account, After Refusing To Violate Privacy of San Bernardino Terrorists,” by Jacob Engels, Gateway Pundit, February 6, 2019 (thanks to Todd):
Three years after Apple refused to give the federal government access to the devices used by the San Bernadino terrorists who killed and injured dozens in a mass shooting event, the company has given the office of the Special Counsel complete access to Trump advisor Roger Stone’s iCloud account, reports Apple Insider.
According to the Washington Post, Apple objected to giving the federal government backdoor access to the shooters iPhones, claiming it would “set a dangerous precedent.”
“From the beginning, we objected to the FBI’s demand that Apple build a backdoor into the iPhone because we believed it was wrong and would set a dangerous precedent. As a result of the government’s dismissal, neither of these occurred. This case should never have been brought.”
Fast forward to present, and we see that Apple no longer seems to have the same privacy concerns it once did in 2015. Without any fight, they simply turned over Roger Stone’s iCloud passwords and God knows what else because Orange Man Bad. The fact that Apple views a political persecution less of a hill to die on than protecting the rights of terrorists who killed and maimed dozens of Americans is quite telling.
More from the Washington Post on Apple’s refusal to turn over access to the San Bernandino [sic] shooters devices…
“If allowed to stand, the order in Apple’s case would have forced company engineers to create software to disable a phone security feature so that the FBI could try its hand at unlocking the device by cracking a numeric password. Apple quickly resisted, arguing that forcing it to create such software would violate the company’s constitutional rights and weaken privacy for users around the world.”
Which makes us wonder… what exactly was Apple threatened with by Robert Mueller and the Office of the Special Counsel for them to abandon their firm stance against turning over user data and access to federal investigators? Surely they didn’t reason that two mass shooters were more deserving of their tough stand against government overreach and backdoor programs? There must be some explanation as to how they could give the federal government the power to access our privately held devices and accounts at will right?…
The following is the entire video of President Donald Trump’s 2019 State of the Union Address followed by a transcript of his speech. View the Democrat response here.
Madam Speaker, Mr. Vice President, Members of Congress, the First Lady of the United States, and my fellow Americans:
We meet tonight at a moment of unlimited potential. As we begin a new Congress, I stand here ready to work with you to achieve historic breakthroughs for all Americans.
Millions of our fellow citizens are watching us now, gathered in this great chamber, hoping that we will govern not as two parties but as one Nation.
The agenda I will lay out this evening is not a Republican agenda or a Democrat agenda. It is the agenda of the American people.
Many of us campaigned on the same core promises: to defend American jobs and demand fair trade for American workers; to rebuild and revitalize our Nation’s infrastructure; to reduce the price of healthcare and prescription drugs; to create an immigration system that is safe, lawful, modern and secure; and to pursue a foreign policy that puts America’s interests first.
There is a new opportunity in American politics, if only we have the courage to seize it. Victory is not winning for our party. Victory is winning for our country.
This year, America will recognize two important anniversaries that show us the majesty of America’s mission, and the power of American pride.
In June, we mark 75 years since the start of what General Dwight D. Eisenhower called the Great Crusade — the Allied liberation of Europe in World War II. On D-Day, June 6, 1944, 15,000 young American men jumped from the sky, and 60,000 more stormed in from the sea, to save our civilization from tyranny. Here with us tonight are three of those heroes: Private First Class Joseph Reilly, Staff Sergeant Irving Locker, and Sergeant Herman Zeitchik. Gentlemen, we salute you.
In 2019, we also celebrate 50 years since brave young pilots flew a quarter of a million miles through space to plant the American flag on the face of the moon. Half a century later, we are joined by one of the Apollo 11 astronauts who planted that flag: Buzz Aldrin. This year, American astronauts will go back to space on American rockets.
In the 20th century, America saved freedom, transformed science, and redefined the middle class standard of living for the entire world to see. Now, we must step boldly and bravely into the next chapter of this great American adventure, and we must create a new standard of living for the 21st century. An amazing quality of life for all of our citizens is within our reach.
We can make our communities safer, our families stronger, our culture richer, our faith deeper, and our middle class bigger and more prosperous than ever before.
But we must reject the politics of revenge, resistance, and retribution — and embrace the boundless potential of cooperation, compromise, and the common good.
Together, we can break decades of political stalemate. We can bridge old divisions, heal old wounds, build new coalitions, forge new solutions, and unlock the extraordinary promise of America’s future. The decision is ours to make.
We must choose between greatness or gridlock, results or resistance, vision or vengeance, incredible progress or pointless destruction.
Tonight, I ask you to choose greatness.
Over the last 2 years, my Administration has moved with urgency and historic speed to confront problems neglected by leaders of both parties over many decades.
In just over 2 years since the election, we have launched an unprecedented economic boom — a boom that has rarely been seen before. We have created 5.3 million new jobs and importantly added 600,000 new manufacturing jobs — something which almost everyone said was impossible to do, but the fact is, we are just getting started.
Wages are rising at the fastest pace in decades, and growing for blue collar workers, who I promised to fight for, faster than anyone else. Nearly 5 million Americans have been lifted off food stamps. The United States economy is growing almost twice as fast today as when I took office, and we are considered far and away the hottest economy anywhere in the world. Unemployment has reached the lowest rate in half a century. African-American, Hispanic-American and Asian-American unemployment have all reached their lowest levels ever recorded. Unemployment for Americans with disabilities has also reached an all-time low. More people are working now than at any time in our history — 157 million.
We passed a massive tax cut for working families and doubled the child tax credit.
We virtually ended the estate, or death, tax on small businesses, ranches, and family farms.
We eliminated the very unpopular Obamacare individual mandate penalty — and to give critically ill patients access to life-saving cures, we passed right to try.
My Administration has cut more regulations in a short time than any other administration during its entire tenure. Companies are coming back to our country in large numbers thanks to historic reductions in taxes and regulations.
We have unleashed a revolution in American energy — the United States is now the number one producer of oil and natural gas in the world. And now, for the first time in 65 years, we are a net exporter of energy.
After 24 months of rapid progress, our economy is the envy of the world, our military is the most powerful on earth, and America is winning each and every day. Members of Congress: the State of our Union is strong. Our country is vibrant and our economy is thriving like never before.
On Friday, it was announced that we added another 304,000 jobs last month alone — almost double what was expected. An economic miracle is taking place in the United States — and the only thing that can stop it are foolish wars, politics, or ridiculous partisan investigations.
If there is going to be peace and legislation, there cannot be war and investigation. It just doesn’t work that way!
We must be united at home to defeat our adversaries abroad.
This new era of cooperation can start with finally confirming the more than 300 highly qualified nominees who are still stuck in the Senate — some after years of waiting. The Senate has failed to act on these nominations, which is unfair to the nominees and to our country.
Now is the time for bipartisan action. Believe it or not, we have already proven that it is possible.
In the last Congress, both parties came together to pass unprecedented legislation to confront the opioid crisis, a sweeping new Farm Bill, historic VA reforms, and after four decades of rejection, we passed VA Accountability so we can finally terminate those who mistreat our wonderful veterans.
And just weeks ago, both parties united for groundbreaking criminal justice reform. Last year, I heard through friends the story of Alice Johnson. I was deeply moved. In 1997, Alice was sentenced to life in prison as a first-time non-violent drug offender. Over the next two decades, she became a prison minister, inspiring others to choose a better path. She had a big impact on that prison population — and far beyond.
Alice’s story underscores the disparities and unfairness that can exist in criminal sentencing — and the need to remedy this injustice. She served almost 22 years and had expected to be in prison for the rest of her life.
In June, I commuted Alice’s sentence — and she is here with us tonight. Alice, thank you for reminding us that we always have the power to shape our own destiny.
When I saw Alice’s beautiful family greet her at the prison gates, hugging and kissing and crying and laughing, I knew I did the right thing.
Inspired by stories like Alice’s, my Administration worked closely with members of both parties to sign the First Step Act into law. This legislation reformed sentencing laws that have wrongly and disproportionately harmed the African-American community. The First Step Act gives non-violent offenders the chance to re-enter society as productive, law-abiding citizens. Now, States across the country are following our lead. America is a Nation that believes in redemption.
We are also joined tonight by Matthew Charles from Tennessee. In 1996, at age 30, Matthew was sentenced to 35 years for selling drugs and related offenses. Over the next two decades, he completed more than 30 Bible studies, became a law clerk, and mentored fellow inmates. Now, Matthew is the very first person to be released from prison under the First Step Act. Matthew, on behalf of all Americans: welcome home.
As we have seen, when we are united, we can make astonishing strides for our country. Now, Republicans and Democrats must join forces again to confront an urgent national crisis.
The Congress has 10 days left to pass a bill that will fund our Government, protect our homeland, and secure our southern border.
Now is the time for the Congress to show the world that America is committed to ending illegal immigration and putting the ruthless coyotes, cartels, drug dealers, and human traffickers out of business.
As we speak, large, organized caravans are on the march to the United States. We have just heard that Mexican cities, in order to remove the illegal immigrants from their communities, are getting trucks and buses to bring them up to our country in areas where there is little border protection. I have ordered another 3,750 troops to our southern border to prepare for the tremendous onslaught.
This is a moral issue. The lawless state of our southern border is a threat to the safety, security, and financial well‑being of all Americans. We have a moral duty to create an immigration system that protects the lives and jobs of our citizens. This includes our obligation to the millions of immigrants living here today, who followed the rules and respected our laws. Legal immigrants enrich our Nation and strengthen our society in countless ways. I want people to come into our country, but they have to come in legally.
Tonight, I am asking you to defend our very dangerous southern border out of love and devotion to our fellow citizens and to our country.
No issue better illustrates the divide between America’s working class and America’s political class than illegal immigration. Wealthy politicians and donors push for open borders while living their lives behind walls and gates and guards.
Meanwhile, working class Americans are left to pay the price for mass illegal migration — reduced jobs, lower wages, overburdened schools and hospitals, increased crime, and a depleted social safety net.
Tolerance for illegal immigration is not compassionate — it is cruel. One in three women is sexually assaulted on the long journey north. Smugglers use migrant children as human pawns to exploit our laws and gain access to our country.
Human traffickers and sex traffickers take advantage of the wide open areas between our ports of entry to smuggle thousands of young girls and women into the United States and to sell them into prostitution and modern-day slavery.
Tens of thousands of innocent Americans are killed by lethal drugs that cross our border and flood into our cities — including meth, heroin, cocaine, and fentanyl.
The savage gang, MS-13, now operates in 20 different American States, and they almost all come through our southern border. Just yesterday, an MS-13 gang member was taken into custody for a fatal shooting on a subway platform in New York City. We are removing these gang members by the thousands, but until we secure our border they’re going to keep streaming back in.
Year after year, countless Americans are murdered by criminal illegal aliens.
I’ve gotten to know many wonderful Angel Moms, Dads, and families — no one should ever have to suffer the horrible heartache they have endured.
Here tonight is Debra Bissell. Just three weeks ago, Debra’s parents, Gerald and Sharon, were burglarized and shot to death in their Reno, Nevada, home by an illegal alien. They were in their eighties and are survived by four children, 11 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren. Also here tonight are Gerald and Sharon’s granddaughter, Heather, and great‑granddaughter, Madison.
To Debra, Heather, Madison, please stand: few can understand your pain. But I will never forget, and I will fight for the memory of Gerald and Sharon, that it should never happen again.
Not one more American life should be lost because our Nation failed to control its very dangerous border.
In the last 2 years, our brave ICE officers made 266,000 arrests of criminal aliens, including those charged or convicted of nearly 100,000 assaults, 30,000 sex crimes, and 4,000 killings.
We are joined tonight by one of those law enforcement heroes: ICE Special Agent Elvin Hernandez. When Elvin was a boy, he and his family legally immigrated to the United States from the Dominican Republic. At the age of eight, Elvin told his dad he wanted to become a Special Agent. Today, he leads investigations into the scourge of international sex trafficking. Elvin says: “If I can make sure these young girls get their justice, I’ve done my job.” Thanks to his work and that of his colleagues, more than 300 women and girls have been rescued from horror and more than 1,500 sadistic traffickers have been put behind bars in the last year.
Special Agent Hernandez, please stand: We will always support the brave men and women of Law Enforcement — and I pledge to you tonight that we will never abolish our heroes from ICE.
My Administration has sent to the Congress a commonsense proposal to end the crisis on our southern border.
It includes humanitarian assistance, more law enforcement, drug detection at our ports, closing loopholes that enable child smuggling, and plans for a new physical barrier, or wall, to secure the vast areas between our ports of entry. In the past, most of the people in this room voted for a wall — but the proper wall never got built. I’ll get it built.
This is a smart, strategic, see-through steel barrier — not just a simple concrete wall. It will be deployed in the areas identified by border agents as having the greatest need, and as these agents will tell you, where walls go up, illegal crossings go way down.
San Diego used to have the most illegal border crossings in the country. In response, and at the request of San Diego residents and political leaders, a strong security wall was put in place. This powerful barrier almost completely ended illegal crossings.
The border city of El Paso, Texas, used to have extremely high rates of violent crime — one of the highest in the country, and considered one of our Nation’s most dangerous cities. Now, with a powerful barrier in place, El Paso is one of our safest cities.
Simply put, walls work and walls save lives. So let’s work together, compromise, and reach a deal that will truly make America safe.
As we work to defend our people’s safety, we must also ensure our economic resurgence continues at a rapid pace.
No one has benefitted more from our thriving economy than women, who have filled 58 percent of the new jobs created in the last year. All Americans can be proud that we have more women in the workforce than ever before — and exactly one century after the Congress passed the Constitutional amendment giving women the right to vote, we also have more women serving in the Congress than ever before.
As part of our commitment to improving opportunity for women everywhere, this Thursday we are launching the first ever Government-wide initiative focused on economic empowerment for women in developing countries.
To build on our incredible economic success, one priority is paramount — reversing decades of calamitous trade policies.
We are now making it clear to China that after years of targeting our industries, and stealing our intellectual property, the theft of American jobs and wealth has come to an end.
Therefore, we recently imposed tariffs on $250 billion of Chinese goods — and now our Treasury is receiving billions of dollars a month from a country that never gave us a dime. But I don’t blame China for taking advantage of us — I blame our leaders and representatives for allowing this travesty to happen. I have great respect for President Xi, and we are now working on a new trade deal with China. But it must include real, structural change to end unfair trade practices, reduce our chronic trade deficit, and protect American jobs.
Another historic trade blunder was the catastrophe known as NAFTA.
I have met the men and women of Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, New Hampshire, and many other States whose dreams were shattered by NAFTA. For years, politicians promised them they would negotiate for a better deal. But no one ever tried — until now.
Our new U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement — or USMCA — will replace NAFTA and deliver for American workers: bringing back our manufacturing jobs, expanding American agriculture, protecting intellectual property, and ensuring that more cars are proudly stamped with four beautiful words: made in the USA.
Tonight, I am also asking you to pass the United States Reciprocal Trade Act, so that if another country places an unfair tariff on an American product, we can charge them the exact same tariff on the same product that they sell to us.
Both parties should be able to unite for a great rebuilding of America’s crumbling infrastructure.
I know that the Congress is eager to pass an infrastructure bill — and I am eager to work with you on legislation to deliver new and important infrastructure investment, including investments in the cutting edge industries of the future. This is not an option. This is a necessity.
The next major priority for me, and for all of us, should be to lower the cost of healthcare and prescription drugs — and to protect patients with pre-existing conditions.
Already, as a result of my Administration’s efforts, in 2018 drug prices experienced their single largest decline in 46 years.
But we must do more. It is unacceptable that Americans pay vastly more than people in other countries for the exact same drugs, often made in the exact same place. This is wrong, unfair, and together we can stop it.
I am asking the Congress to pass legislation that finally takes on the problem of global freeloading and delivers fairness and price transparency for American patients. We should also require drug companies, insurance companies, and hospitals to disclose real prices to foster competition and bring costs down.
No force in history has done more to advance the human condition than American freedom. In recent years we have made remarkable progress in the fight against HIV and AIDS. Scientific breakthroughs have brought a once-distant dream within reach. My budget will ask Democrats and Republicans to make the needed commitment to eliminate the HIV epidemic in the United States within 10 years. Together, we will defeat AIDS in America.
Tonight, I am also asking you to join me in another fight that all Americans can get behind: the fight against childhood cancer.
Joining Melania in the gallery this evening is a very brave 10-year-old girl, Grace Eline. Every birthday since she was 4, Grace asked her friends to donate to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She did not know that one day she might be a patient herself. Last year, Grace was diagnosed with brain cancer. Immediately, she began radiation treatment. At the same time, she rallied her community and raised more than $40,000 for the fight against cancer. When Grace completed treatment last fall, her doctors and nurses cheered with tears in their eyes as she hung up a poster that read: “Last Day of Chemo.” Grace — you are an inspiration to us all.
Many childhood cancers have not seen new therapies in decades. My budget will ask the Congress for $500 million over the next 10 years to fund this critical life-saving research.
To help support working parents, the time has come to pass school choice for America’s children. I am also proud to be the first President to include in my budget a plan for nationwide paid family leave — so that every new parent has the chance to bond with their newborn child.
There could be no greater contrast to the beautiful image of a mother holding her infant child than the chilling displays our Nation saw in recent days. Lawmakers in New York cheered with delight upon the passage of legislation that would allow a baby to be ripped from the mother’s womb moments before birth. These are living, feeling, beautiful babies who will never get the chance to share their love and dreams with the world. And then, we had the case of the Governor of Virginia where he basically stated he would execute a baby after birth.
To defend the dignity of every person, I am asking the Congress to pass legislation to prohibit the late-term abortion of children who can feel pain in the mother’s womb.
Let us work together to build a culture that cherishes innocent life. And let us reaffirm a fundamental truth: all children — born and unborn — are made in the holy image of God.
The final part of my agenda is to protect America’s National Security.
Over the last 2 years, we have begun to fully rebuild the United States Military — with $700 billion last year and $716 billion this year. We are also getting other nations to pay their fair share. For years, the United States was being treated very unfairly by NATO — but now we have secured a $100 billion increase in defense spending from NATO allies.
As part of our military build-up, the United States is developing a state-of-the-art Missile Defense System.
Under my Administration, we will never apologize for advancing America’s interests.
For example, decades ago the United States entered into a treaty with Russia in which we agreed to limit and reduce our missile capabilities. While we followed the agreement to the letter, Russia repeatedly violated its terms. That is why I announced that the United States is officially withdrawing from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty, or INF Treaty.
Perhaps we can negotiate a different agreement, adding China and others, or perhaps we can’t — in which case, we will outspend and out-innovate all others by far.
As part of a bold new diplomacy, we continue our historic push for peace on the Korean Peninsula. Our hostages have come home, nuclear testing has stopped, and there has not been a missile launch in 15 months. If I had not been elected President of the United States, we would right now, in my opinion, be in a major war with North Korea with potentially millions of people killed. Much work remains to be done, but my relationship with Kim Jong Un is a good one. And Chairman Kim and I will meet again on February 27 and 28 in Vietnam.
Two weeks ago, the United States officially recognized the legitimate government of Venezuela, and its new interim President, Juan Guaido.
We stand with the Venezuelan people in their noble quest for freedom — and we condemn the brutality of the Maduro regime, whose socialist policies have turned that nation from being the wealthiest in South America into a state of abject poverty and despair.
Here, in the United States, we are alarmed by new calls to adopt socialism in our country. America was founded on liberty and independence — not government coercion, domination, and control. We are born free, and we will stay free. Tonight, we renew our resolve that America will never be a socialist country.
One of the most complex set of challenges we face is in the Middle East.
Our approach is based on principled realism — not discredited theories that have failed for decades to yield progress. For this reason, my Administration recognized the true capital of Israel — and proudly opened the American Embassy in Jerusalem.
Our brave troops have now been fighting in the Middle East for almost 19 years. In Afghanistan and Iraq, nearly 7,000 American heroes have given their lives. More than 52,000 Americans have been badly wounded. We have spent more than $7 trillion in the Middle East.
As a candidate for President, I pledged a new approach. Great nations do not fight endless wars.
When I took office, ISIS controlled more than 20,000 square miles in Iraq and Syria. Today, we have liberated virtually all of that territory from the grip of these bloodthirsty killers.
Now, as we work with our allies to destroy the remnants of ISIS, it is time to give our brave warriors in Syria a warm welcome home.
I have also accelerated our negotiations to reach a political settlement in Afghanistan. Our troops have fought with unmatched valor — and thanks to their bravery, we are now able to pursue a political solution to this long and bloody conflict.
In Afghanistan, my Administration is holding constructive talks with a number of Afghan groups, including the Taliban. As we make progress in these negotiations, we will be able to reduce our troop presence and focus on counter-terrorism. We do not know whether we will achieve an agreement — but we do know that after two decades of war, the hour has come to at least try for peace.
Above all, friend and foe alike must never doubt this Nation’s power and will to defend our people. Eighteen years ago, terrorists attacked the USS Cole — and last month American forces killed one of the leaders of the attack.
We are honored to be joined tonight by Tom Wibberley, whose son, Navy Seaman Craig Wibberley, was one of the 17 sailors we tragically lost. Tom: we vow to always remember the heroes of the USS Cole.
My Administration has acted decisively to confront the world’s leading state sponsor of terror: the radical regime in Iran.
To ensure this corrupt dictatorship never acquires nuclear weapons, I withdrew the United States from the disastrous Iran nuclear deal. And last fall, we put in place the toughest sanctions ever imposed on a country.
We will not avert our eyes from a regime that chants death to America and threatens genocide against the Jewish people. We must never ignore the vile poison of anti-Semitism, or those who spread its venomous creed. With one voice, we must confront this hatred anywhere and everywhere it occurs.
Just months ago, 11 Jewish-Americans were viciously murdered in an anti-semitic attack on the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh. SWAT Officer Timothy Matson raced into the gunfire and was shot seven times chasing down the killer. Timothy has just had his 12th surgery — but he made the trip to be here with us tonight. Officer Matson: we are forever grateful for your courage in the face of evil.
Tonight, we are also joined by Pittsburgh survivor Judah Samet. He arrived at the synagogue as the massacre began. But not only did Judah narrowly escape death last fall — more than seven decades ago, he narrowly survived the Nazi concentration camps. Today is Judah’s 81st birthday. Judah says he can still remember the exact moment, nearly 75 years ago, after 10 months in a concentration camp, when he and his family were put on a train, and told they were going to another camp. Suddenly the train screeched to a halt. A soldier appeared. Judah’s family braced for the worst. Then, his father cried out with joy: “It’s the Americans.”
A second Holocaust survivor who is here tonight, Joshua Kaufman, was a prisoner at Dachau Concentration Camp. He remembers watching through a hole in the wall of a cattle car as American soldiers rolled in with tanks. “To me,” Joshua recalls, “the American soldiers were proof that God exists, and they came down from the sky.”
I began this evening by honoring three soldiers who fought on D-Day in the Second World War. One of them was Herman Zeitchik. But there is more to Herman’s story. A year after he stormed the beaches of Normandy, Herman was one of those American soldiers who helped liberate Dachau. He was one of the Americans who helped rescue Joshua from that hell on earth. Almost 75 years later, Herman and Joshua are both together in the gallery tonight — seated side-by-side, here in the home of American freedom. Herman and Joshua: your presence this evening honors and uplifts our entire Nation.
When American soldiers set out beneath the dark skies over the English Channel in the early hours of D-Day, 1944, they were just young men of 18 and 19, hurtling on fragile landing craft toward the most momentous battle in the history of war.
They did not know if they would survive the hour. They did not know if they would grow old. But they knew that America had to prevail. Their cause was this Nation, and generations yet unborn.
Why did they do it? They did it for America — they did it for us.
Everything that has come since — our triumph over communism, our giant leaps of science and discovery, our unrivaled progress toward equality and justice — all of it is possible thanks to the blood and tears and courage and vision of the Americans who came before.
Think of this Capitol — think of this very chamber, where lawmakers before you voted to end slavery, to build the railroads and the highways, to defeat fascism, to secure civil rights, to face down an evil empire.
Here tonight, we have legislators from across this magnificent republic. You have come from the rocky shores of Maine and the volcanic peaks of Hawaii; from the snowy woods of Wisconsin and the red deserts of Arizona; from the green farms of Kentucky and the golden beaches of California. Together, we represent the most extraordinary Nation in all of history.
What will we do with this moment? How will we be remembered?
I ask the men and women of this Congress: Look at the opportunities before us! Our most thrilling achievements are still ahead. Our most exciting journeys still await. Our biggest victories are still to come. We have not yet begun to dream.
We must choose whether we are defined by our differences — or whether we dare to transcend them.
We must choose whether we will squander our inheritance — or whether we will proudly declare that we are Americans. We do the incredible. We defy the impossible. We conquer the unknown.
This is the time to re-ignite the American imagination. This is the time to search for the tallest summit, and set our sights on the brightest star. This is the time to rekindle the bonds of love and loyalty and memory that link us together as citizens, as neighbors, as patriots.
This is our future — our fate — and our choice to make. I am asking you to choose greatness.
No matter the trials we face, no matter the challenges to come, we must go forward together.
We must keep America first in our hearts. We must keep freedom alive in our souls. And we must always keep faith in America’s destiny — that one Nation, under God, must be the hope and the promise and the light and the glory among all the nations of the world!
Thank you. God Bless You, God Bless America, and good night!
Wherever the Clintons go and whoever they are close to often meet mysterious ends, often very strange suicides. The latest person to face this tragic end is Sabrina Bittencourt, an activist who exposed Bill Clinton’s “faith healer,” Joao Teixeira de Faria (John of God), as a child rapist and running a “sex slave farm.” Bittencourt was found dead over the weekend, just days after making the claims.
Largely, the media is silent over Bittencourt’s alleged suicide in her own home.
Sabrina Bittencourt, 38, died at her home in Barcelona just days after accusing John of God – real name Joao Teixeira de Faria – of running a ‘sex slave farm’.
She claimed young girls were held captive in a farming operation which exported babies on the black market.
The women would be murdered after ten years of having babies in the alleged scheme run by the 77-year-old celebrity faith healer, who was arrested last year after hundreds of women accused him of abuse, she said.
Ms Bittencourt left Brazil and was forced to live under protection after receiving death threats.
Her eldest son Gabriel Baum confirmed her death, writing on Facebook: ‘She took the last step so that we could live. They killed my mother.’
Ms Bittencourt had received reports of children being sold for between £15,000 and £40,000 in Europe, Australia and the United States, she said.
Vitimas Unidas, an activist who worked with Bittencourt, announced her death saying, “(The) group announces with regret the death of Sabrina Bittencourt, which occurred around 9pm on Saturday in Barcelona.”
“The activist committed suicide and left a farewell note explaining the reasons why she took her own life,” she added.
“We ask you all not to try to contact her relatives,” Unidas continued. “Two of her three children are still not aware of what happened and their father, Rafael Velasco, is trying to protect them.”
Before her death, she was quoted as saying, “Hundreds of girls were enslaved over years, lived on farms in Goias, served as wombs to get pregnant, for their babies to be sold.”
‘These girls were murdered after 10 years of giving birth,” Bittencourt added. “We have got a number of testimonies.’
John of God’s own daughter even outed him. In a piece at MSN:
A celebrity faith healer – John of God – sold babies for thousands as he impregnated teenage slaves he kept at his rural gem mines and farms in Brazil, an activist claims.
Joao Teixeira de Faria, 77, was arrested on December 17 on the outskirts of Abadiania, in rural Brazil on rape charges.
He became a wanted man after a bombshell late night chat show on Brazil’s Globo TV network aired accusations from ten women of abuse at his Casa de Dom Inacio de Loyola in Abadiania.
After the initial interview on TV authorities were reportedly contacted by more than 600 other accusers, including Faria’s adult daughter, Dalva Teixeira.
His 49-year-old daughter told magazine Veja, that under the pretence of mystical treatments her ‘monster’ father abused and raped her between the ages of 10 and 14.
She told the magazine that he stopped after she became pregnant by one of his employees.
Upon learning she was pregnant, Dalva told the magazine that her father beat her so ferociously that she suffered a miscarriage.
He went on the run as his reputation – which had been built up over several decades – was tarnished.
Court documents show that he had attempted to withdraw nearly £6.8m before surrendering to police on charges of rape.
The elderly medium, who has been interviewed by Oprah and has treated Bill Clinton, was pursued after skipping a deadline to hand himself in.
We shouldn’t be surprised the someone like Oprah covered him and someone like Bill Clinton was “treated” by him either.
This “suicide” needs to be investigated thoroughly, but I doubt it will be.
It’s nice to see that some people still aren’t afraid to go up against Hollywood, the state-controlled media and the baby murder mills across our country and not only that, but truly put their money where their mouths are. Micahel Lindell, CEO of MyPillow, has financially backed the upcoming film “Unplanned,” a film that exposes the criminal activities of abortion clinics like Planned Parenthood from the view of one of their former award recipients Abby Johnson, which is scheduled to be released in theaters on March 29, 2019.
Ashley Bratcher plays Planned Parenthood clinic director Abby Johnson.
After witnessing a human baby murder firsthand, which has been termed in the media in their narrative as abortion, Johnson renounced abortion and leaves, becoming a pro-life, abolitionist.
While being “paid to be a corporate instrument of policy,” Johnson was so convicted that she repented of her sin of overseeing the murder of thousands of American and began to cry out against it, leading an army of those already in the fight and encouraging others to stand against it, including pastors who are failing to speak out on abortion.
Listen to Abby at the Georgia Right to Life banquet in 2014 by clicking here.
She confessed that she made an enemy of “one of the most powerful organizations on the planet.”
“Everything that they told us is a lie,” Ashley Bratcher, playing the part of Johnson, says in the emotional trailer.
“Now tell me, what does that mean to be noble? Your title gives you claim to the throne of our country, but men don’t follow titles, they follow courage. Now our people know you. Noble, and common, they respect you. And if you would just lead them to freedom, they’d follow you. And so would I.”
Johnson has went from being a follower of baby murderers to be a leader of those holding forth the law of God and advancing the attack on those who are beheading, dismembering and brutally slaughtering the most innocent Americans among us.
Nearly 800 theaters plan to carry the film, which hits the big screen on March 29. “Unplanned” will be distributed by Pure Flix, which also theatrically distributed “God’s Not Dead,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Hollywood Reporter went on to report on their interview with Lindell.
Michael Lindell, worth an estimated $300 million, tells The Hollywood Reporter he has plowed $1 million into Unplanned, an upcoming feature that was shot in secret due to its critical take on Planned Parenthood.
His investment amounts to one-sixth the entire production budget of Unplanned, which comes from some of the same filmmakers who were behind God’s Not Dead and I Only Can Imagine, a couple of Christian films that did well at the box office, earning $61 million and $84 million, respectively.
Lindell also has a cameo in Unplanned that’s sure to raise eyebrows in certain circles, as he is seen bulldozing a Planned Parenthood site to make way for the headquarters of an anti-abortion group called 40 Days for Life. “I’m pro-life and I’m happy to do it,” Lindell says.
Unplanned is the second movie Lindell helped fund, the first being Church People, a Christian comedy starring Stephen Baldwin that is in postproduction. Lindell has a cameo in that film as well. “It was difficult. I have a spirit of unworthiness so I had to get over my shyness,” he says.
“I don’t get into things for the money; I get into them if the message is right,” Lindell says.
Lindell has become a controversial figure among the political left, immune to calls from activist groups to yank his advertising from conservative talk-radio shows and The Ingraham Angle on Fox News after host Laura Ingraham insulted a survivor of a shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
“When they tell me to back down, I double down, and my sales go up,” says Lindell, who handed out 10,000 My Pillows to hurricane victims in Florida earlier this month.
Lindell, 57, is a former cocaine and alcohol addict who founded My Pillow in 2004. Today, he employs 1,600 people in Minnesota and he has sold 43 million of his open-cell, poly foam products, one of which President Donald Trump says he sleeps on at the White House. Lindell stood near Trump last month at the signing of a bill targeting opioid addiction.
“I’ve prayed about everything I’ve done,” Lindell says. “I met Donald Trump before he was president and I didn’t know a thing about politics. I walked out of his office thinking there was no better man in this world that I would like to be my president.”
Following the Gosnell movie, starring Dean Cain, the baby murder mills and their accomplices, must be shaking in their boots at the prospect of one of their former leaders turning on them and calling them out for their crimes in front of millions of Americans.
Lindell is also planning to fund a movie based on his soon to be released book, “What are the Odds? From Crack Addict to CEO” with proceeds going to Lindell Foundation and Lindell Recovery Network, his charitable organizations.
“I can pretty much go on any channel and talk about Jesus or Donald Trump, and I don’t get attacked like you would think because I’m straightforward and I tell it like it is,” he says.
Thank God, there are men who put their money where their mouths are. I have people that I know who “put away over a hundred million dollars” to finance “Christian” movies, but when you ask for a tenth of it just to promote a good Christian film like “The Reliant,” they don’t even have time to watch the trailer.
Well done Michael Lindell! You are going to be investing in the lives of millions of people living now and those who might be spared a brutal death in the future. May God bless your efforts!
I have been covering the leftist/jihadi smear campaign against a brave Jewish politician in Hallandale, Florida who has been targeted for removal by terror-tied Hamas group CAIR and their leftwing lapdog Michele Lazarow on the commission. The local press, as is their way, demonize the wrong people.
On Saturday, Robert Spencer wrote an article at the Geller Report about an execrable hit piece by Sarah Blaskey of the Miami Herald, targeting Anabelle Lima-Taub, a Florida official who called out Muslim Rep. Rashida Tlaib for her Jew-hatred. In the article, Spencer notes that Blaskey wrote about a video in which Hamas-CAIR operative Rasha Mubarak was jeered at and menaced by men wearing MAGA hats — while, Blaskey wrote, Mubarak was filming them on her phone. Mubarak told Blaskey she feared she would be physically attacked. Yet Blaskey did not link this video, and it may not even exist. I received this email from a Geller Report reader who sent me this video, showing that Mubarak was never menaced or in fear. A CAIR operative lying — it’s like breathing for them.
I read your response piece about the Miami Herald story and your perspective was very accurate.
I was there to speak in support of Lima-Taub and her 1st amendment rights.
I happen to have taken some video of the small crowd that gathered outside prior to the meeting where various people with opposing views peaceful expressed their opinions.
I happened to observe a woman and a gentlemen, neither of which I knew who they were, but later learned the woman was named Mubarak. You will see she was in the crowd with the gentleman, he left the crowd to speak to a reporter as did Mubarak to stand near them, then she returned into the crowd, she didn’t appear threatened or appear as someone who was in fear for her safety. If she was, why would she walk back into the crowd?
Prior to speaking at the meeting, I was seated outside the commission chambers on a bench waiting my turn to speak, as the chamber was filled to capacity, and seated on the bench seated to the left of me was the the speaker who would be speaking after me, that was Ms Mubarak. I sat next to her for 30+ mins awaiting my turn, we chatted casually, she was watching the meeting live feed from her laptop. She didn’t appear at all shaken or in fear.
If you look carefully, there were a couple of people wearing MAGA hats who were completely on the opposite side of the crowd from Mubarak, there were also some people wrapped in Israeli flags, some of those were actually children.
This entire spectacle was not created by Lima-Taub’s initial comment, but rather by the media frenzy that was created over it by commissioner Michele Lazarow and her paid political consultants/lobbyists who first went to the Sun-Sentinel to push this story into the media spotlight. That’s the real story. This isn’t about hate and opposing views, this is all about a vindictive commissioner and her consultant retaliating against Lima-Taub, who they they want off the commission so they can keep their power and corruption that they bring to this very small beachfront town.
Show your support for a fighter under siege by the leftist/Islamic machine. Liab is sponsoring a resolution against the boycott of the Jews (BDS). Here are the email addresses you should send your support to: Mayor Joy. D Adams

After fuming over New York’s new baby murder law, the baby murder law proposed in Virginia, and Virginia’s Governor Northam supporting infanticide, a parody/satire of these atrocious laws and stance by Democrats, anti-constitutionalists, and the immoral population gave a well-needed laugh as well as speaking to a potential gruesome truth should the “party of death”, aka extreme view Democrats, consolidate power while many constitutionalists, Christians, conservatives and Republicans slink into the shadows.
A new law proposed by representatives in the Virginia state legislature would allow parents to abort their non-viable millennial children.
“Any child who’s 30 years old and still living with their parents is obviously a non-viable life form, and that’s between the parents and their doctor to discuss options,” said one representative defending the bill in the assembly. “The millennial can be kept comfortable in the basement while the mother decides if she wants to keep them. But that’s between her and her doctor.”
“Her basement, her choice,” he added.
Medical professionals can use early detection methods to try to spot signs of non-viability in the millennial’s development, like getting a useless college degree, eating quinoa and avocado toast, and wearing a man bun. But sometimes, parents just aren’t sure until very late in gestation, like by the time they are 30 or 35 years old and still haven’t gotten a job.
“At that point it’s a humane option,” a medical doctor who has performed dozens of millennial abortions said. “It’s a quality of life issue, not an issue of morality or murder.”
While hilarious, it points to a dark and gruesome path this country could travel should the acceptance of immoral legalized infanticide by medical professionals under hire by infants’ mothers gain traction. It would plunge this country further into the darkness we have already entered.
A number of Democratic Party members and supporters have devolved into becoming the Nazi Party led by Adolf Hitler in 1930s to 1940s Germany. Before anyone who is a Democrat or Democratic Party supporter becomes unhinged, the qualifier “a number” was used. If you are not part of that movement, get a hold on your offensiveness. If you are still a Democrat and/or supporter of the Democrat Party after the callous passage of these laws, you might want to rethink your position. Why? Because the Nazi Party of Adolf Hitler started as a small group which grew to take over the entire country of Germany, while courting the people with many benefits as he decimated populations in the nation, caused family members to turn against one another, murdered the Nazi opposition, and used intimidation and fear tactics to keep silent anyone who dared speak out in opposition.
Ask yourself how religious leaders could remain silent while the Nazis violated God’s laws and a standard of moral behavior; then, help many of these criminals escape justice? They feared for their own life more than they served God and Jesus Christ or held a standard of moral behavior.
There are many similarities between the extreme anti-constitutionalist Democrats and Hitler’s Nazi Party. Make no mistake, some Republicans fall into these similarities as well.
Just as Hitler courted Muslims to engage in killing of the Jews and infidels, today’s Democrats align with Muslims to silence those who speak out against the atrocities of that false religion by calling the opposition racist, Islamophobic, white supremacists, isolationists, and populists.
Just as Hitler promoted and supported murder of “undesirables” that included infants, the physically and mentally infirmed, non-German populations, sodomites, and the elderly, today’s Democrats are floating the immoral legalization of infanticide – to start.
Hitler’s Nazi Party promoted the sterilization of millions of women because those women were determined to be unfit to bear children because of Nazi supremacy – the women were believed to have traits or other “defects” that should not be subject to reproduce in infants. Democrats, as well as some Republicans, support Planned Parenthood, which was started by Margaret Sanger who believed that certain populations should not reproduce and large families should be allowed to kill infants for the “good of the rest of the family.”
Just as Hitler’s Third Reich dictated the everyday lives of Germany’s population, so the Democrats, as well as some Republicans, believe the US government should dictate every facet of an American citizen’s life.
Hitler’s Third Reich promised the German people many “perks” and benefits at the State’s expense in exchange for loyalty to the “party”. Today’s Democrats are campaigning on free college education, “healthcare for all” (which we already have, it’s just mandatory insurance), and robbing from the rich, whom they claim obtained their money from robbing the poor, through exorbitant taxes to pay for all the “perks” and benefits in exchange for loyalty to the party.
Germany’s Third Reich sent dissenters to re-education camps and provided extensive, intensive education into the Nazi ideology to its citizens – remember the Hitler Youth and Hitler Maidens. Today’s college campuses are hotbeds of extreme anti-constitutionalist Democratic socialist/communist ideology intended to brainwash attendees into supporting a platform that denies freedom and liberty to everyone.
There is plenty more to the list; but, one should get the point by now. The Democratic Party is now led by extremist anti-constitutionalists such as Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and Barack Hussein Obama Soetoro Soebarkah who are embracing the ideology of Alexandria Ocasio Cortez in order to remain relevant. Even the head of the Democratic National Convention, Tom Perez, stated that AOC was the future of the Democratic Party. Let that sink in and remember what happened in Nazi Germany and Stalin’s Soviet Union.
Democrats are more upset about Virginia’s governor being photographed in blackface standing with an individual dressed in KKK garb while in medical school than his stance on murdering newly born infants. Many are calling for his resignation over the hint of racism more than his advocating murder of helpless, defenseless children. Just like Hitler, their priorities are bass ackwards.
Long after WWII, it was determined Hitler suffered from multiple mental illnesses as well as addiction to several drugs administered by his physician. Unfortunately, that is not the case with members of the Democratic Party who flip-flop their stance in order to remain relevant and keep their elected positions through courting the extremists with every imaginable anti-constitutional tenet. Those voters who have elected the likes of Tlaib, Omar, AOC, Kamala Harris, Corey Booker, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and a host of others who are espousing extremist views are nothing more than secret Nazi Party platform supporters.
Die-hard Democrats and the willfully ignorant voting population need to quit parroting what they hear, stop letting others think for them and begin to think for themselves. Don’t think that what has happened in other countries cannot happen here – it can. In fact, it’s closer than you think. For when an established morality of murder is wrong becomes murder is acceptable in certain circumstances, it isn’t long before those circumstances expand to include anyone who dares to espouse a differing opinion.
According to the police, Muzammil had known fashion model Dixit for a few days and found her attractive. “I called her on the pretext of a photoshoot and demanded to have sex with her. When she refused, I hit her on the head with a wooden stool,” Muzammil is stated to have told the police during his interrogation. As she fell unconscious, the accused molested her and attempted to rape her, according to the charge sheet. He then strangled her with a lace and rope, said police.
Moreover, Islamic clerics routinely encourage Muslims to migrate to the West and help empower Islam anyway they can—including through propaganda, proselytization, apologetics, births, theft, etc.—and not just through violent jihad. If they do any of these, they technically become jihadis (after all and as the apologists are fond of insisting, jihad literally means “striving” on behalf of Islam.) Thus many Muslim rapists in Europe believe it is their Islamic right and reward to molest and rape infidel women. (more here)
Quran (33:50) – “O Prophet! We have made lawful to thee thy wives to whom thou hast paid their dowers; and those (slaves) whom thy right hand possesses out of the prisoners of war whom Allah has assigned to thee”
Quran (23:5-6) – “..who abstain from sex, except with those joined to them in the marriage bond, or (the captives) whom their right hands possess…”
Quran (4:24) – “And all married women (are forbidden unto you) save those (captives) whom your right hands possess.”
Syed Muzammil, a 19-year-old aspiring photographer, was arrested for killing Mumbai model Mansi Dixit at his home in Andheri, as she refused to have sex with him, reported Hindustan Times.
The report quoted Muzammil’s statement in the charge sheet, where he confessed to the police: “I called her on the pretext of a photoshoot and demanded to have sex with her. When she refused, I hit her on the head with a wooden stool.”
He later molested and tried to rape her. Not only this, later he strangled her, stuffed the body in a bag and disposed it off. The charge sheet has been filed by the Bangur Nagar police. The incident took place on October 15 last year.
Muzammil was arrested from his Oshiwara apartment.
Already a tidal wave of impeachable offenses by Minnesota’s Representative Ilhan Omar have presented themselves, and yet, to date, not one Article of Impeachment has been issued against this unAmerican, false god worshipping (which is not a God-given right), Somalian refugee turned “American citizen” in name only has been presented. I call to your remembrance the fact that Omar once petitioned a judge for light sentencing on the behalf of nine Islamic State recruits saying that the judge’s ruling could be about “compassion” and a “restorative approach to justice.”
Yes, you heard that right!
Omar concluded, “this ruling can set a precedent and has the potential to be a landmark case in addressing extremism.”
In November 2016, Omar penned a letter to Judge Michael Davis, in which the prosecution recommended the following sentences for these Islamic jihadis:
Mohamed Abdihamid Farah: Prosecution requested 30 years in prison and lifetime of supervised release.
Abdirahman Yasin Daud: Prosecution requested 30 years in prison, lifetime of supervised release.
Guled Omar: Prosecutors requested 40 years in prison. Defense requested 15 years.
Hanad Mustafe Musse: Prosecution requested 15 years imprisonment, and lifetime of supervised release. Defense requested 72 months.
Adnan Abdihamid Farah: Prosecution requested 15 years imprisonment and lifetime of supervised release.
Hamza Naj Ahmed: Prosecution requested 15 years of imprisonment and lifetime of supervised release. Defense requested half-way house, also has motion to seal sentencing report.
Zacharia Yusuf Abdurahman: Prosecution requested 15 years prison and lifetime of supervised release.
Abdirizak Mohamed Warsame: A cooperating defendant, prosecutors recommended 54 months in prison.
Abdullahi Mohamed Yusuf: A cooperating defendant, prosecutors recommended 42 months in prison.
State Minnesota Representative-elect Omar’s letter, dated November 8, 2016 reads as follows:
Honorable Judge Davis,
As you undoubtedly deliberate with great caution the sentencing of nine recently convicted Somali-American men, I bring to your attention the ramifications of sentencing young men who made a consequential mistake to decades in federal prison. Incarcerating 20-year-old men for 30 or 40 years is essentially a life sentence. Society will have no expectations of the to be 50 or 60-year-old released prisoners; it will view them with distrust and revulsion. Such punitive measures not only lack efficacy, they inevitably create an environment in which extremism can flourish, aligning with the presupposition of terrorist recruitment: “Americans do not accept you and continue to trivialize your value. Instead of being a nobody, be a martyr.”
The best deterrent to fanaticism is a system of compassion. We must alter our attitude and approach; if we truly want to affect change, we should refocus our efforts on inclusion and rehabilitation. A long-term prison sentence for one who chose violence to combat direct marginalization is a statement that our justice system misunderstands the guilty. A restorative approach to justice assesses the lure of criminality and addresses it.
The desire to commit violence is not inherent to people — it is the consequences of systematic alienation; people seek violent solutions when the process established for enacting change is inaccessible to them. Fueled by disaffection turned to malice, if the guilty were willing to kill and be killed fighting perceived injustice, imagine the consequence of them hearing, “I believe you can be rehabilitated. I want you to become part of my community, and together we will thrive.” We use this form of distributive justice for patients with chemical dependencies; treatment and societal reintegration. The most effective penance is making these men ambassadors of reform.
The restorative approach provides a long-term solution – though the self-declared Islamic State may soon suffer defeat, their radical approach to change-making will continue as it has throughout history – by criminalizing the undergirding construct rather than its predisposed victims. Therein, this ruling can set a precedent and has the potential to be a landmark case in addressing extremism.
At the beginning of the week, I wrote, in honor of MLK Day, that Dr. King undoubtedly supported a secure Southern border. You may review it here.
Unsurprisingly, I got a little flack for it from a few on the left.
Yet I don’t know why it’s so surprising. It’s no more a revelation than that Dr. King was a Republican. According to his niece, Dr. Alveda King, MLK was Republican.
This should be a surprise to no one who knows the unvarnished history of America – who advocated for black Americans and who didn’t.
Somehow history has been rewritten. Check that. We know how. I believe it can be traced back to the death of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., for before that time, most blacks were Republicans, and for good reason.
But we’ve been taug class=”ydpd3318930yiv0271702164ydp51b88e93MsoNormal”ht that the Democrats are the party of civil rights, of minority empowerment and Republicans are racists. It’s irrefutable!
Well, I’m here to refute it.
It was 1954 and the Supreme Court was deciding the Brown v. Topeka Board of Education. The Supreme Court and Chief Justice Earl Warren, appointed by Republican President Eisenhower, ruled for Brown. The landmark decision ended school segregation and declared the 1896 Plessy v. Ferguson decision violated the 14th amendment, with its “Separate but Equal” doctrine. The Democrat party supported the 1896 views and sided with the Topeka Board of Education. In fact, Southern democraDemocrats as Dixiecrat’s, formed in 1948, had a slogan, “segregation forever.”
It was Republican Pres. Eisenhower who established the first permanent U.S. civil rights commission, which had coincidentally been rejected by Democrat man of the people, Franklin Roosevelt. Roosevelt actually banned black American newspapers from the military, claiming they were communist.
Many Democrats voted against the first civil rights act in 1957. Among them was a senator from Massachusetts named John F Kennedy. Republicans such as Sen. Everett Dirksen and Barry Goldwater supported it.
In fact, Republican Sen. Everett Dirksen (IL) was instrumental in virtually all civil rights legislation; in 1957, 1960, 1964, 1965 and 1968. He wrote the language in the 1965, “Voting Rights Act.” But history has been rewritten to show LBJ was the civil rights hero.
Yet in private, Johnson said: “These Negroes, they’re getting uppity these days. That’s a problem for us, since they got something now they never had before. The political pull to back up their uppityness. Now, we’ve got to do something about this. We’ve got to give them a little something. Just enough to quiet them down, but not enough to make a difference. If we don’t move at all, their allies will line up against us. And there’ll be no way to stop them. It’ll be reconstruction all over again.”
As president, JFK opposed the 1963 MLK march on Washington. A. Philip Randolph, a black Republican, organized the march for Dr. King.
It was well known back then that Dr. King criticized Kennedy for ignoring issues of civil rights. JFK didn’t take too kindly to the criticism and was one of the reasons he had his Atty. Gen. brother Bobby Kennedy, through the FBI, wiretap King’s hotel rooms on suspicion of him being a communist. This was all done to undermine King’s efforts, for obviously Dr. King was no communist.
There were many other notable Democrats; none were friends of black Americans. Some of the leading opponents of the 1964 Civil Rights Act were racist Democrat Senators Sam Ervin, Al Gore Sr. and Robert Byrd. What? Al Gore’s dad was anti-black? Yep. And Robert Byrd was a former Grand Kleagle of the Ku Klux Klan.
A few of the worst were Eugene “Bull” Connor, Lester Maddox and George Wallace. Bull Connor let loose dogs and fire hoses on black demonstrators and did I forget to mention he was also Pres. Bill Clinton’s mentor.
Maddox, governor of Georgia, and his supporters used ax handles to beat blacks to prevent them from entering his restaurant.
Alabama Gov. Wallace infamously blocked two black students from entering the University of Alabama in 1963, where he continually shouted: “segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever.”
Before history was rewritten it was well known that racist Democrats said they would vote for a “Yellow Dog” before a Republican because the Republican Party was known as the party for blacks.
It was Ronald Reagan that made Dr. King’s birthday a federal holiday.
So despite what we hear, see and read today, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. would never have been a Democrat. Not then and not now. He would’ve never joined the party of segregation and the Klan.
On Monday, it was a day of remembrance for all Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. did to advance the cause of racial equality in America.
Unfortunately, over the years his message of unity has been hijacked by the radical left. So much so that a white conservative is no longer even allowed to quote his words verbatim without being pilloried by the media and leftist activists.
Take, for example, what Vice President Mike Pence said on MLK day. When speaking of border security, Pence quoted a single line from King. “…now is the time to make real the promises of democracy.” He dovetailed that sentiment into a call to Democrats to “come to the table in a spirit of good faith. We’ll secure our border, we’ll reopen our government.”
This simple quote sparked a visceral reaction from the left including King’s son, Martin Luther King III.
While speaking at a National Action Network MLK Day breakfast, King III stated, “Martin Luther King Jr. was a bridge builder, not a wall builder. Martin Luther King Jr. would say love not hate would make America great. Did you all hear that? Love not hate would make America great.”
Well, Mr. King – that appears to not be entirely true. Oh yes, the “love not hate” bit is absolutely true, but the wall builder may not be.
Although King, Jr. was a visionary, he also had a pragmatic side.
King was a tireless fighter for blacks in the United States. He knew that his fight must be fought on many fronts, which is why he offered his personal support of unity to the founder of the United Farm Workers Union (UFW), Cesar Chavez. He did so in a Western Union Telefax (telegram) on September 22, 1966.
In it, King said, “Our separate struggles are really one—a struggle for freedom, for dignity and for humanity … We are together with you in spirit and in determination…”
But what struggle was Chavez fighting for, or against? It was the struggle for farm workers’ rights against depressed wages and working conditions.
And what was causing the poor conditions and depressed wages? That’s right – an influx of south-of-the-border immigrants flooding in and taking the jobs of American farm workers. Chavez called them “wets,” as in wetbacks.
And King knew full well what Chavez was fighting for – and against, as Chavez didn’t change his stance on migrants until long after King’s death.
Black Americans had been suffering the same fate of immigrants stealing their jobs long before King and Chavez. Black leaders like William Edward Burghardt Du Bois, Frederick Douglass, Booker T. Washington and A. Phillip Randolph all railed against immigration negatively affecting black workers.
These were the men that influenced Dr. King, and all spoke and wrote, denouncing the business model of cheap labor that preferred the work of immigrants to that of blacks.
During the 1950s and 1960s, Hispanic leaders Ernesto Galarza, Julian Samora, and Cesar Chavez all called for increases in Border Patrol and stiff employer sanctions to stop illegal immigration.
In a study published in the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), contributing authors concluded that, “The employment rate of black men, and particularly of low-skill black men, fell precipitously from 1960 to 2000. As immigrants disproportionately increased the supply of workers in a particular skill group, the wage of black workers in that group fell, the employment rate declined, and the incarceration rate rose.”
It is clear today, as it was in the 1960s, that immigration did not and does not provide a pathway for the betterment of the black community. And provided that the black leaders, who came before King, led and influenced King and the people that King would come to lead, one can only conclude that King had a similar stance on immigration.
Prepping is no longer just a thing us “crazy Americans” do. The popularity of stocking up and being prepared for future events is spreading across the globe as people everywhere are losing faith that the way things are now are the way things will always be. Now that folks in the United Kingdom are facing Brexit, or the exit of the UK from the European Union, a lot of people there are currently debating whether they should be stocking up.
If there’s one thing that’s absolutely true, it’s the fact that human beings, in general, don’t want to expectthat something bad may be about to happen. This is the reason that a lot of folks are hesitant to stock up ahead of time before that bad event occurs. This is the reason you see bare shelves right before a looming disaster. This is the reason you see people fighting over that last case of water at the store.
Why are people prepping for Brexit?
Here’s what’s threatening the way of life in the UK right now.
Nevine Mann is not readying herself for the threat of nuclear war, flooding or civil disorder in this part of Cornwall, in scenic southwest England. No, the specter that keeps her on edge is Brexit.
Ms. Mann, 36, has joined the country’s band of “Brexit preppers,” people who fear chaos in March, when Britain will leave the European Union, and who are stockpiling supplies.
For more than 18 months, Britain has been trying to negotiate a deal with the European Union, without which the country could face gridlock at ports, trucks stuck on highways with their loads of food spoiling, empty grocery and pharmacy shelves, energy scarcity and factories shutting down. Britain imports around one-third of its food from the European Union, and businesses rely on complex supply chains that could break down if checks are imposed on the thousands of trucks that cross the English Channel each day.
This being Britain, people are not retreating to underground bunkers, as America’s “Doomsday preppers” do, and Britons are more likely to hoard toilet paper than weaponry. But with time running out and negotiations at a delicate point, some Britons are preparing for a crisis that could upend their way of life.
“People are talking about World War II and rationing,” said Ms. Mann, a former midwife. “People have also been talking about the blackouts in the 1970s, and how power was rationed.”
“This has the potential of being a combination of the two,” she said.
The government of Prime Minister Theresa May dismisses such talk, but its own ministers have published contingency plans for an exit on March 29 without a deal, and for the first time since the end of rationing in the 1950s, Britain has a minister responsible for food supplies. More ominously, the government has advertised job openings in emergency planning. (source)
There’s a lot of uncertainty about what will actually happen if an agreement can’t be reached.
I belong to a group that is trying to help people get stocked up for Brexit in the UK. The issue is that many of the things that are in the British food supply are imported from Europe. The chemicals to treat their municipal water supply? Imported from Europe. When they leave the European Union shortly, it’s possible – even likely – that there will be shortages and issues.
It’s a friendly, helpful group full of kind people who are dealing with something practically unheard of in a nation that doesn’t really have much in the way of natural disasters.
At least once a day, someone joins who says something along the lines of, “I’m trying to decide if I actually need to stockpile things before this event.”
Now, any American prepper would guffaw at the very idea of this question…but non-preppers would find it completely reasonable. So that’s why I wanted to write this article about why you should not wait for a crisis to get stocked up. While it’s written with folk facing the Brexit in mind, it’s also applicable to anyone, anywhere.
I’m a firm believer in being stocked up even when there’s nothing but clear skies on the horizon.
You’ll get things at a better price when you shop ahead of a crisis.
When it looks like a crisis of some sort is headed your way, you can often expect prices to escalate before and after it occurs. In the case of Brexit, it’s extremely likely that people will see an uptick in food prices, if not before then definitely after. Currently, things that are imported from Europe cross easily into the country but afterward, there will be delays and extra costs. This will cost money and that cost will definitely be passed on to the customer.
And yes, it’s against the law. But a lot of people are willing to risk it to make some quick cash.
When the supply greatly outstrips the demand this is what happens. It isn’t ethical but that doesn’t make a difference. It’s reality.
There are anti-competition laws in the UK that forbid outright price gouging but that doesn’t mean it won’t happen. Please don’t put your faith in people obeying the law when there’s money to be made. Lots of people will charge the high prices and hope not to get caught. And, if the costs of getting the goods increase dramatically, it’s not illegal to pass that on to the customers.
If the bad thing occurs, you won’t be competing for scarce resources.
If there’s one thing I know, it’s that ahead of an emergency, right before it happens, everyone dashes to the store and buys up supplies in a frenzy. And they get downright angry when supplies are limited. Everyone has seen bare shelves before a winter storm or hurricane.
Now imagine what the shelves will look like if suddenly it’s announced that certain important supplies will not be available for six months. Try to picture the panic as everyone in your city rushes to the store nearest to them to get as much as they can of those supplies.
It’s absolutely a fact that people who are panicking behave badly. Here’s just one example of people fighting over the last case of water. You may look at this and think, “Oh, I don’t live in an area where people act like that.” Trust me when I tell you we all live in an area like that when food is in short supply. All of us.
You know how people behave on Black Friday to get things they don’t really need? How do you think those same people will behave when the supplies in the store are the difference between them eating or starving? Because clearly, they are out there. We have them on video. And it isn’t just an American phenomenon. The video below is from the UK in 2018.
And that’s for things like televisions. Not because people are worried about running out of food.
When the announcement comes that food or water is about to be in short supply, you want to be safely at home with your family, not out in the stores, frantically competing for limited resources.
Your safety will not be compromised by you being out there after it happens trying to find supplies.
The incidents mentioned above are all about people merely shopping or trying to stock up before an event. If it’s that bad before anything has happened, can you imagine what it will be like after it happens?
Actually, you don’t have to imagine. All you have to do is look back at the New York City area after Hurricane Sandy struck in 2012. Not only was there flooding and a lengthy power outage, but there were also fuel shortages and a lot of folks didn’t have food or water on hand.
At gas stations, there were lines that took anywhere from 45 minutes to three hours and if you were lucky, there was still fuel when you reached the pumps. Fights and unruliness broke out as some people tried to cut the line. Alan Marwan worked at a Sunoco station in Prospect Heights.
Word had quickly spread about the shortage and by Wednesday afternoon, Marwan said cars were pouring out of the parking lot, one line going down Grand Avenue, the other going down Atlantic. “People were cutting in line, yelling at each other, running up to me with money while their cars were still in the street,” he said, predicting the madness will start back up again as soon as he gets more gas. And when that happens, Marwan expects the police to be on hand to help. (source)
Even after FEMA arrived to provide relief with free gasoline, the violence continued.
The frenzy for gas, fueled by long lines and shuttered stations, reached a fever pitch Saturday even as a massive tanker full of relief sailed into the harbor.
The interminable delay stretched to 16 hours at one Bay Ridge gas station, where would-be customers sat helplessly. Not even the promise of $10 in free FEMA gas calmed tensions in one tense 12-block queue along Bedford Ave. in Brooklyn, where tempers flared as desperate drivers tried to jump to the front…
…The already-edgy crowd erupted when one man tried to cut the FEMA line with a 2-gallon gas can — and it took six police officers to restrain him from getting his precious fuel. The gas hog was eventually cuffed and taken away, as much for his own safety as anything.
“It’s not good getting into fights over little things like this,” said local resident Sandra Dyer after watching several near fistfights. “People get killed over things like this.” (source)
It wasn’t just about fuel, though.
The fuel lines were nothing compared to the frenzy for food and water. After only 72 hours, people were desperately rummaging through garbage for food.
Please don’t think this is something that can only happen in the United States. Desperate people are desperate people, no matter where they are on this planet. The good news is that you can avoid all this by stocking up before what threatens to be a potentially disruptive event.
You’ll be prepared for other emergencies that come along.
Whatever event you’re considering stocking up to prepare for, please know that it isn’t the only event that could occur. No matter where you live, there are things like storms, unexpected power outages, contamination of the water supply, and interruptions of transportation that could mean a temporary disruption of the supply line.
But if you have food and other supplies on hand, these events will barely be a blip on your radar. You’ll be far more likely to be comfortable, well-fed, and content regardless of the situation.
Supplies like non-perishable food, flashlights, candles, and water will help you through a wide variety of different disruptions to your everyday life.
And this isn’t even to mention the most common type of emergency, a personal financial problem. If you suffer a loss of income, a huge unexpected expense, or a cost-of-living increase, the supplies you are putting aside right now will help you through that. You’ll be just fine if you have to miss a few trips to the grocery store because you’ll have food already put aside to see you through it.
Your supplies won’t be wasted if you get supplies your family will enjoy.
A prepper adage is to eat what you store and store what you eat. If you follow that rule, you’re not wasting any money by stocking up.
Think about it.
Will you ever not use the toilet paper that is sitting in your closet? Will you ever not eat the food that you’ve put aside? Will you ever stop drinking water?
Stashing away tea, coffee, canned goods, crackers, beans, water, and rice is always a good idea. You’re always going to eat, you’re always going to need personal hygiene supplies, and you’re always going to drink water. You’re not wasting your money by purchasing these things at the best prices you can find and stashing them away for a rainy day.
Focus on the basics.
While I strongly recommend stacking food, water, and health and hygiene supplies to the rafters, I’m not as keen on advising you to purchase expensive high-tech solutions.
Investing thousands in generators and that type of thing may not be as good of an idea or as universally useful. Go low-tech with your preps and plan to live a different lifestyle if things go downhill for a period of time. You have to remember that a generator only runs while you have the fuel to run it, and there’s a limit to how much fuel you’re going to be able to stash away. Here are some ideas for less expensive, low-tech prepping.
Spend your money on the things you know you’ll use and you will be set for anything from Brexit to supply disruptions to winter storms.
How would you advise people facing Brexit to prepare?
This site is loaded with experienced preppers who’ve been at this for a long time. What advice do you have for people who live in a place where prepping isn’t the norm? What should they stock up on? What are some things you think they should know? Please share your advice in the comments below.
Recently, former Secretary of State John Kerry called on President Trump to resign during a Tuesday appearance at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. While Kerry’s statement has been carried by many media sources, as well as him being asked if he plans to run for president in 2020, no one is asking the most important question of all: Why is Kerry still attending important world functions and meeting with world leaders?
The fact that we have key players from the former Obama government still acting as our legitimate government and many Leftists in power now, who obviously recognize Barack H. Obama as their leader and not the Trump administration, should deeply disturb us. Not only is this an act of defiance against the current administration that was put in power by the citizens of the USA, but it is a blatant act of treason against the people by the former administration and government officials currently in office.
The US is and has been in a quiet, for the most part, Civil War since citizens outrightly rejected the NWO neo-Nazism mantra in electing Donald Trump to not only Make America Great Again, but to actually Make America the United States of America again.
The organized mobs such as ANTIFA and BLM, financed by George Soros and organized by Obama, whose job it is to put down any semblance of support of nationalism in the US, most of the time violently, shows us we citizens are headed into armed conflict with anti-American factions within our own government.
This armed conflict will not bode well for the anti-American factions trying to destroy the US, as most law enforcement and all military will side with US National Patriots and they’re officially sworn in President, Donald Trump.
