Washington State Forces Transgender Compliance for all Statewide

It was a stated concern for those who saw the rise of transgender rights. The idea that the transgender would demand the use of the facility of the sex they identified with rather than the one with which they were born. And now, it is not just the transgender but the state.

The Washington Human Rights Commission has issued statewide rules
requiring that public facilities allow males who identify as female and vice versa be allowed to use the restroom that is consistent with their “gender identity.”

“All covered entities, except school districts or other primary and secondary schools, shall allow individuals the use of gender-segregated facilities, such as restrooms, locker rooms, dressing rooms, and homeless shelters, that are consistent with that individual’s gender identity,” the rules read.

“In such facilities where undressing in the presence of others occurs, covered entities, except for school districts and other primary or secondary schools, shall allow access to and use of a facility consistent with that individual’s gender identity,” they mandate.

Of course, this means that the man or woman who believes themselves to be the opposite sex will now be allowed to use the bathroom/dressing room/locker room with those of the opposite sex.  Men will have to be allowed to dress and change with women.

But this is not the worst part. It lays on the unconfused person the burden of change. If a woman is uncomfortable with a man standing naked in the women’s dressing room, then she should leave. She has no right to feel comfortable. She is not the victim, the man standing before her with his man-parts hanging out is the victim.

“If another person expresses concern or discomfort about a person who uses a facility that is consistent with the person’s gender identity, the person expressing discomfort should be directed to a separate or gender neutral facility, if available,” the section on “gender-segregated facilities” outlines.

Once again, if the ordinary person is bothered by the new paradigm, then it is that person who has the problem and is to blame. We now see that it is a special class of protected people that trump the rights of others. And this is not just to apply to publicly owned facilities either.

The rules additionally prohibit employers from mandating that men who identify as women dress like men on the job, and vice versa.

According to this commission, businesses will have to accommodate those who deny their sexuality. People will have to allow men to dress as women when they come to work, even if that person works with the public. But there are some who think that this can be undone.

He (Joseph Backholm, executive director of the Family Policy Institute of Washington) opined that new rules conflict with state law and urged residents to call upon legislature to undo the HRC regulations.

“While this rule was created through rule making authority delegated to the Human Rights Commission, the legislature has every right to fix this,” he continued. “And they should.”

Though this is both silly and sad, there is something that we can learn. Sin brings pain and discomfort. There is the pain the transgender is in emotionally. They are seeking for joy and cannot find it, and this makes the pain worse. There is discomfort for the men and women having to share a facility with the person of the opposite sex.

All this could be avoided if the transgender would repent.
