Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) is quite possibly the most liberal (and therefore foolish) politician in Washington, D.C. He is singlehandedly the best reason to not take the state of Vermont seriously in anything other than maple syrup, and he’s a fan favorite on MSNBC. He’s technically not a Democrat, though he votes with the Democrats more than Nancy Pelosi, but even his insane politics don’t mean he can’t be right once in a while. Like on Tuesday when he mocked the Hillary Clinton campaign for a couple of minutes on MSNBC.
Sanders blasted the media’s breathless coverage of Hillary’s campaign and mocked the candidate herself when he openly wondered exactly where she stands on important issues.
“Why don’t you tell me what Hillary Clinton is campaigning on, do you know?” he said onMSNBC’s “Live with Thomas Roberts,” when asked if he believed her campaign message that she’s running to represent the “little guy.”
“You don’t know and I don’t know and the American people don’t know.”
Sanders mocked the media’s fascination with Clinton’s early campaign van, which she has nicknamed the “Scooby Doo van.”
“I’m sure there is great national interest about the Scooby van, I can’t think of an interest of more significance to the American people,” Sanders said.
“I would hope very much that serious debate on serious issues is what we do in any campaign,” he added.
The truth is that everyone knows why Hillary is running – it’s because she craves power. There is no “politically correct” reason. She’s not running for the little guy, or for world peace, or for a better America. She’s running for Hillary — and that’s it.
